[player_tooltip player_id='973929' first='Lily' last='Downing'] (2028) | 5'3 PG | MCW Starz

Worcester recruited yet another top talent to add to their dazzling backcourt. Lily recently reclassed to '28 and her play with the Starz has been fantastic this season. She's looking mighty sharp with the ball in her hands, making the right reads, running the offense fluidly as well as bring a high IQ to each matchup. What s been most impressive is to see her progression as a scorer. The understanding to exercise good judgment on the fly can't overlooked. In the past, she was somewhat of a floor general with a reliable shot, but Lily's ability to get a basket has dramatically improved. Her change of speed truly allows her to get separation and she's awfully slippery, especially getting downhill. Downing doesn't get flustered by pesty defenders either, the confidence as she gets to her spots is evident. Even through adversity or in high pressure situations Downing remains true to her nature. Considering the past few months she's had; everything seems to be pointed upwards. Lily will be one of the most intriguing watches in the class next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='961189' first='Jocelyn' last='Gesner'] (2027) | 6'3 Foward | Team NE

A well-balanced, fundamentally sound forward that offers great positional size and the versatility, particularly on defensive side of the ball. Gesner is rarely outplayed in matchups. Sort of like an unsung hero of her teams. She does a lot of the work that make it easier for her team to succeed. There's an enormous amount of value that a player like Gesner brings and schools are starting to take interest; not too long ago she received an offer from Canisius. Jocelyn has strong physical tools that make her effective on the boards and hard contain down low. She perseveres through contact plus she finds ways to come through for her team no matter what. Jocelyn may not be the leading scorer, but her solid attributes directly lead to winning basketball.

Scott's jump to the top of her class came even faster than anticipated. Watching her in the '23-24 season it was apparent that she had so much potential. At that time, she was a young player that was effective, playing a mature style of basketball. Scott was efficient in steady minutes. Since then, her game has evolved at a rapid pace; it's clear why she's getting major recognition from numerous Division 1 schools now. At this point, she could very well be considered one of the best young players in all of NEPSAC.

Aponte is a guard with the capacity to have high scoring outputs each time stepping onto the court and she can do it in fashion. Her ability to capitalize on isolation possessions as well as get to her spots makes her a real danger in any game. Zaida is one of RI's brightest young players and she's likely to have a statement year this upcoming season. It wouldn't be a surprise to see her name be one of the main headlines in her area. Aponte is a fun watch, with a distinct game that makes her that much more striking,

Massively underrated in the past, Murray's name is more than likely to move up a considerable amount in the ranks due to the sheer value she brings to the game. Gemma is such a versatile talent that can be used many ways depending on what's needed. Playing 2 ways is something that's a regular staple in her game too. The steals generated can rack up quickly if ballhandlers aren't careful too. On offense the brilliance is shown while being an on-ball creator, one that provides good looks after designing separation, an outside shooter that other penetrators look to, plus she's phenomenal scoring threat in off-ball situations The high usage guard can carry the responsibility of an offense, plays engaging defense and is consistently productive. Murray's influence on the game is immense.
