Class of 2026: Top 10 PG’s

Stephens can get downhill in a hurry and she has a smooth finish and she can convert going full speed but can also shift gears. The Utah Valley University commit is tough. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#2 [player_tooltip player_id='796802' first='Alia' last='Baldassano'] || Alta ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Baldassano will be a very good addition to any program looking for a guard that can shoot the ball. She is a really smart player off of the pick n' roll. Baldassano does a great job reading the defense showing she has BBIQ out on the floor. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#3 [player_tooltip player_id='790536' first='Kya' last='Newton'] || Olympus ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Newton heads over to a new school where she will have the green light and score a ton. She is quick and uses those soccer skills to defend but also activate that motor on offense as well. Keep an eye on her this season. She could have some monster games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#4 [player_tooltip player_id='1133662' first='Tatianna' last='Harness'] || Lone Peak ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harness plays all over the floor but she is a natural PG. She works well off the ball and when she catches it on the move she is very tough to stop. Midrange game is off the charts. She could have a big senior year chasing a second state title. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#5 Quincy Keagel || Alta ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keagle is another lead guard at Alta and they have one of the best backcourts in the state and will have depth as well. You might see her off the ball and that is okay because she shoots the ball well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#6 [player_tooltip player_id='796797' first='Isabelle' last='Wyaskett'] || Clearfield ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wyaskett could be a gem pickup at the next level. She has all the tools to be impactful at a 4-year program. A 2-year school could try and get her but she is a plug and play lead guard that is one of the better two-way players. She should have a killer senior year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#7 [player_tooltip player_id='839480' first='Gabby' last='Gomez'] || Cedar City ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gomez is a shooter running the point and if you fall asleep she will hurt you with a deep bomb. She has wiggle and she can switch gears up on you. She will be fun to watch. Small schools and D2's need ot be all over her. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#8 [player_tooltip player_id='891014' first='Penelope' last='Arroyo'] || Layton Christian ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Arroyo is a sleeper next level PG. She could easily play for a D3, NWAC program. She is a bright player out at LCA. Look for her to be much improved this coming season and use a lot of the skill set she showed this past spring and summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#9 [player_tooltip player_id='1133593' first='Halle' last='Talbot'] || Riverton ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Talbot is a dual sport player that has been improving every year and this seasons he will miss it due to injury which only means a college program is going to get a steal. She is an excellent track athlete as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#10 Ava Nielson || Brighton ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nielson s a gritty guard that gets after it on the defensive end. She is a ball mover on the offensive side of the ball. She is a player that will make sure it gets to the right hands. Could increase her assist this coming year as the ball will be in her hands a little bit more than the past years. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
