PGH WA Freshman Showcase: Players I’m Excited to See

With the PGH WA Freshman showcase coming up in the next few weeks, here's a few players who are already registered who I am excited to see play.    Haven't registered yet? She defends at a high level too, being able to guard multiple positions.   Aleya Smith - Union   Already known on a national level, Aleya is another top prospect in the entire state. She shoots the ball lights out with her quick lefty release. She's a great ball handler too and can play either guard position at a high level.    [player_tooltip player_id='1239084' first='Lucia' last='Mayorquin'] - Bellevue   Lucia has dominated the last couple months on the AAU scene for NW Greyhounds. She's a tall guard who is very athletic. She attacks the rim smoothly with both hands and is going to be a top prospect during her HS career.   [player_tooltip player_id='1249193' first='Kadee' last='Spike'] - Union   Another high level 2029 for Union HS. Spike is a dynamic guard who can really shoot it from deep. She plays with energy and has a lighting quick release. She's a name to keep an eye on for the coming years    [player_tooltip player_id='1278158' first='Selena' last='Meki'] - Bonney Lake   With sister Izzy already at Bonney Lake, I'm excited to see her younger sister come through the program and show off her abilities on the court. She has great instincts and already has a high basketball IQ.
