Year one always brings a different kind of feeling for freshmen, and this camp offers more than just getting a feel for the court and the game. It's a chance to network, connect with other players who might be going through the same things, and even link up with future competitors. Either way, it helps them feel a little more ready before the season tips off. Below are five players I believe will make a statement at this event.

Ratliff plays a little bigger than her size, due to her length. She does most of her damage from outside of the arc, but I've seen a handful of moments of her being able to get to the rim. Outside of the offensive ability, she does play with a strong amount of aggression that lets you know she's all about winning. Looking forward to seeing how she stacks up against some other top talent in the state.

One of the most electrifying guards in this state. Regardless of the size, this kid has talent and a feel for the game that not a lot of high school players have. Once the muscle builds, I don't see many D1 programs not extending an offer within the next year or two. Remember the name.

Sedillo is one of those high energy guards who is sure to cause some issues for defenders at this event. She's beyond her age when it comes to the basics of the game. She can legit be effective in multiple roles. If you need a defender to guard 84ft and be a pest, pick Sedillo, if you need to stretch the floor, pick Sedillo. Strong potential.

Watson has a certain confidence about her that can't be taught, and you can see it in the way she plays. She believes she's the best player on the floor at all times and approaches each possession that way. I believe she'll have some big offensive moments at this event.

Sweeney is going to be a coach's favorite, she simply just does the little things, and a majority of the time she does the little things right. She moves well without the ball, she makes the go ahead passes, and knows when to be aggressive when scoring, and knows when to facilitate, and does a strong job of bouncing between both.
