Wrapping up my 2025 Summer Ball All-Kansas 2027 team are the power forwards and centers. Point and shooting guards were shared in part one, combo guards and small forwards in part two. This part three is punctuated by a pair of top power forwards from the 6A ranks whose games are vastly different. It also includes a top small school talent and a center who will play a key role for the likely pre-season number one ranked 6A team. Continue to keep in mind that my teams are only composed of players who I saw in-person.

Power Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id='729411' first='Ruth' last='Gipson'], 6'0", Shawnee Mission Northwest - Gipson is a wood laying load and is among the most difficult players for opposing teams to match up with. Blessed with a great frame, quickness and speed she uses her skills and strength to score over, around or through defenders. Defenses I saw her play against benefited from her not getting as many touches as she should have. She has a well developed post game and a perimeter game to get to work on the wing and get to the hole off the bounce. When she puts a body on someone to box out few have the ability to fight it. Very fast in transition. A solid D 1 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1114889' first='Audrey' last='Searl'], 5'9", Baldwin - I have included Searl here and not in the small forward ranks because her game and frame well suits her for the four spot as she heads into her junior year. Catching her at the Hutchinson Community College team camp what drew my attention was her defensive play. She showed very good strength and physicality to disrupt entry passes and opponents trying to set themselves to post up. While I would like to see her do a better job of finding and bodying someone when shots go up Searl clears rebounds well but pushing it up the floor with the pass or dribble. Searl has three point range and a couple nifty, block post moves.

[player_tooltip player_id='671505' first='Maddie' last='Vickery'], 6'1", Washburn Rural - The Kansas State commit is arguably the most savvy and smart player in the state. Her well known physical talents and basketball skills are elite but what tops things off is her IQ. She reads what defenses and individual defenders will give her and quickly learns what she can do defensively to challenge shots, rebound and stay out of foul trouble. She can play the point forward spot but in general she capably plays and defends the two through five spots.

Centers

[player_tooltip player_id='1237785' first='Alexis' last='Allen'], 6'1", Olathe South - When a team has the top talent in the state that happens to stand 6'3" opponents really do not want to also have to deal with a quickly developing true center to run with her. And they both are juniors. Allen has made big strides. She has improved fluidity and overall interior game. Already having solid athleticism, transition speed and great length Allen also has great hands. Allen has substantial upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='892365' first='Kamry' last='Getz'], 5'11", Quinter - Getz is arguably the top post player in 1A. Her post footwork and ability to get to the rim were impressive to see. With impressive size and strength, she brings interior toughness that can anchor both ends of the floor. She plays with a no-nonsense attitude in the paint—boxing out hard, finishing through contact, and holding her ground defensively. As Quinter continues to build on its tradition of success, Getz will take on a bigger role and make a real impact for this powerhouse program. Expect her to be a key contributor in their continued run of dominance. Solid north-south speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='779221' first='Makynlee' last='Jensen'], 6'1", Maize South - After not seeing Jensen for a couple years I had the opportunity to watch her play a couple times. After being away from the court last season expect Jensen to be a serious force in 5A next season. Her great size is one problem but add in great footwork, block and face-up post games and the occasional three point look and she is very difficult for most defenders to stop. Jensen is also a agile, smart defender who has solid north-south speed. A solid rebounder and finisher, Jensen is a all-state caliber player.

[player_tooltip player_id='895441' first='Kendall' last='Baalman'], 6'1", Hoxie - Baalman is an emerging big from the 2A ranks who is going to draw substantial attention in the Mid Continent League. A high potential prospect with legitimate size and length she blocks shots just walling up. She transitions well with long strides and finishes with extension.
