Keep an eye out for these high-scoring hoopers once the 2025-2026 begins. Competing in the smallest classifications, they can light it up and will look to make big contributions this winter and cross some major milestones along the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='601517' first='Ava' last='Coyle'] | Shore

Closing in on 1,000 points, Ava enters her senior year ready to take on a larger role. With the graduation of Shore's two leading scorers last season in Kimi Sayson and Reese Fiore, she will be the Blue Devils' primary scoring option. A mix of 3-point sharpshooting and blazing transition offense, she's likely to top last year's 372-point total and lead a fairly young team to a postseason appearance.

[player_tooltip player_id='601340' first='Sadie' last='Fleming'] | Manville

Sadie's domination in the paint has seen her rack up 896 points over three seasons. Now a senior, she'll look to not only reach 1,000 career points, but also help Manville snag more than one postseason win, something that has never been done in program history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134549' first='Aya' last='Catran'] | Cresskill

Aya led the Cougars in scoring last season as a junior, more than tripling her production from the season before. She was one of the highest scorers in the NJIC and continues stepping it up as the years pass. While 1,000 points might be out of reach, she may certainly get dangerously close with a big season (528 points away).

[player_tooltip player_id='832358' first='Gina' last='Minichiello'] | Hasbrouck Heights

After a super impressive sophomore season putting up 517 points, Gina heads into Year 3 just 204 points away from 1K. She lit up the NJIC and recorded three 30+ point games. She was a one-woman show, at times, outscoring the opposing team entirely by herself.

[player_tooltip player_id='1192843' first='Ava' last='Illuzzi'] | Secaucus

With multi-level scoring, including hot 3-point shooting, Ava tallied 436 points in her freshman season. Already nearly halfway to 1,000, she's likely to reach the milestone in Year 2 if she turns up the heat just a notch. With the second-leading scorer from a season ago gone, Ava will have even more freedom to create scoring opportunities and get Secaucus back to the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='981852' first='Harmoni' last='Burgess'] | Arts

Harmoni had a rookie season full of double-doubles and triple-doubles, producing one of the best freshman seasons in school history. She averaged 15.5 PPG en-route to 387 points. She even outscored the opposing teams all by herself at times; Newark Fashion & Design, West Caldwell Tech & Irvington). Year 2 could see the fiery guard put up hundreds of more points and inch closer to 1,000 for her career.

[player_tooltip player_id='601420' first='Taylor' last='Bass'] | Pennsville

Taylor is no stranger to filling up the points column! Her junior year saw a huge breakout, recording 423 points and bringing her 3-year total to 894. Her efforts led Pennsville to a quarterfinal showing in South Jersey, Group 1 and an 18-win season. She banged in 44 triples and led the way averaging 15.1 PPG.

[player_tooltip player_id='831439' first='Kezia' last='Brackett'] | Glassboro

With back-to-back 400-point seasons under her belt, Kezia has established herself as a scoring force in South Jersey. Sitting at 809 points, she's all but certain to reach 1K halfway through her junior year. She thrives in transition and lets it fly from 3 without hesitation. Her contributions led Glassboro to the quarters of SJ Group 1, averaging 16.0 PPG in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048715' first='Lola' last='McGonigle'] | Wildwood Catholic

The arc assassin is set to eclipse two major scoring milestones this season: 200 career triples and 1,000 points. Averaging 16.2 PPG, she led the Crusaders to 23 wins and a spot in the South Jersey, Non-Pub B semis. A huge summer with the Comets is sure to carry over to her junior year. Having scouted her game closely over the past few years, Lola is capable of knocking in triple-digit 3-point totals and putting together a historic season in Year 3. When she gets hot from 3, it can be a monumental task for the defender to try and cool her off.
