[player_tooltip player_id='557354' first='Jenica' last='Lewis'] îs on the only 2026 that is still uncommitted out of Iowa at this time but I'm sure her decision has to be coming soon. Lewis has been a top rated prospect nationally for years now. She is everything you want at the next level when it comes to a leader, production, and dedication to the game. She is a proven winner and always has been. There is always a lot of hate for those top dawgs out of each Class cause people are jealous and that's the case here. If you Lewis' track record over the past four years, it's damn impressive in basically every category you can name. I'm not sure who scoops up Lewis in the end but if I had to guess, it's the Hawkeye's of Iowa. I guess we will just have to wait and see though.

Now that [player_tooltip player_id='342205' first='Jayla' last='Williams'] is committed to the Creighton Bluejays, she is ready to lock in for one last Senior season at Ankney High School. Williams is the state's best 1v1 defender and her offensive game is growing at a high rate as well. She has been working relentlessly in the lab in her off-time and that work is starting to show as she moves into her Senior season. At Creighton, I'm sure she is going to make her presence known early on within that program. She is coming off of an EYBL season where she was named 17U Breakout MVP so as long as she builds on that momentum moving forward, she should be just fine in any situation that might unfold.

The Midwest's best shooter is taking her talents Arizona State and she couldn't be happier. [player_tooltip player_id='509225' first='Averie' last='Lower'] of CCA has solidified herself as one of the Nation's best SG's over the past few season with what she has put together and now she is ready to show the state of Iowa what she can do for one last go-around. When you play against Lower, you have to be flawless defensively around screens and past the three point line. If not, she is going to be making a lot of shots. We saw that first hand on the National stage this Summer on the EYBL Circuit and I'm sure that was just the tip of the iceberg. If she can move off the ball more this Winter, watch out cause not many will be able to keep her contained for the entire duration of a contest.

Missouri is getting a DAWG in [player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] at the PF position. Muller made the choice to join up with the Tigers during this AAU season and some did not take that lightly but that's doesn't matter in the slightest. The only thing that matters is that Muller is happy with her decision and she is going to a program where she will be able to thrive. Two things that should both be true over the next 4-5 seasons. This is that player in the middle that everyone needs to worry about when they attack offensively. If not, it's going to end a block, tip, or deflection by Muller before you blink. This Winter at DC, this will be their anchor in the middle. She will hold things down on both ends at a high rate and I'm sure everyone who has to play her, is well aware of that at this time.

[player_tooltip player_id='582806' first='Trishelle' last='Miller'] jumps into our #5 stop in this Update with her steady play this past AAU season on the road with her [program_tooltip program_id='779942' first='ETG' last='Midwest Elite 3SSB'] program out of Omaha. Miller checks off a lot of boxes. She doesn't kill anyone with flash and that's why some think that she isn't as good as she truly is. Trust me, Miller can go and once she is at SDSU, she is going to show a lot of people watching that they had the wrong opinion about her over-time. She might end up being one of the most productive producers out of this 2026 Class within Iowa. Only time will tell that but from the looks of it, it would not surprise me.
