Elkhorn South is going to be a young team, returning a good amount of producers from years past but [player_tooltip player_id='899116' first='MJ' last='Leonard'] should be able to make a difference within their system before you know it. Leonard, a 5'10 CG/SF, does the simple things really well off of the basketball. She moves without having possession behind the defense at a high rate - creating simple looks, she can screen away - freeing up space for others, and she can score in iso-situations if need be when she does catch it. Defensively, she is a weapon to have because she is a Swiss-army knife, who can move around to a few different spots to lock down whoever might be across from her. There is a lot of to like her. Now it's all about making it translate in real time.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224371' first='Mayci' last='Dolliver'] has a lot of room to grow as a hooper still but she has shown that she has the chance to be the real deal in the future, much like her older siblings. Dolliver is a smaller CG that can play the 1, 2, or 3 depending on the situation. She really thrives as a 1 or a 2 in general and that's what she is going to be playing the rest of her career from here on out so that should translate to productivity. She will have a chance to see how it's done first hand this Winter as her Varsity team will be led by their Seniors in charge. This experience will help Dolliver in the long run. She just has to soak it all in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1268673' first='Natalie' last='Hoffman'] has been a stock-riser the past few months with everything we have seen out on the AAU floor and within her training sessions. Hoffman is a student of the game at 5'9. She primarily competes as a SG and main scoring threat for her team's, always being able to let it fly from all sorts of distances. I think she is going to be interesting to see this Winter. She is very skilled for her age level so she should kill her competition but sometimes it's not that simple. We will see how she navigates the situation but this is definitely someone to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224969' first='Kenzli' last='Vasa'] is one of the state's best kept secrets at this point and she is ready to show everyone what she can do this Winter at Lincoln - Standing Bear High School. Vasa is more coordinated than most her age, she has a shifty handle while playing a really fundamental game overall. She understands how to play off of two feet, always giving herself an out in one way or another if she happens to get stuck off of the dribble. She can defend her position at a high rate. She can knock down open shots off rotation, all while being able to orchestrate the players around her as a vocal leader. I'm not sure what to expect out of Vasa exactly this Winter but it wouldn't shock me if she took the state by storm out of this Class over the next eight months.
