Celebrating the 2026 Tennessee Basketball Class

Today marks exactly 2 months before teams can officially start practice. Thinking about this upcoming season, it's kind of bittersweet in a way because this will be the last go-around for some talented student-athletes. This 2026 class is a very special one that has made its mark on the sport in this state. Highly touted, these girls leave the high school ranks and will head to the collegiate level, looking to make an impact. Though some still have yet to commit ( it's on the horizon), there are plenty that have. The 2026 class is definitely special and one that is leaving a lasting impression for young ladies behind them to follow.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thinking about the 26s, geez, they have accomplished a lot during their tenure. We have state champions, MVPs, and girls who have done work in the high school circuit as well as the travel ball circuit. Their games are each exciting, memories that will surely stand out over the years. There have been plenty of battles, highlight moments, and pure bliss that have come from these players. Talk about an emotional high, these girls have really impacted the sport.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As the 26 class gears up for one last run, I just wanted to say cheers to you all for establishing yourselves on these hardwood floors. Her game has evolved, and she has been impacting the game since her freshman year. A dominant paint threat who can also stretch the floor, she brought her lunchpail and hard hat to every game. She has been big time on the boards, double-digit in points, and really made everyone feel her presence on the floor. She will be heading to Clemson, where she will be impacting the ACC. With the ball in her hands, magic just happens as she can will her way to advantageous opportunities. Whenever her club seemed overmatched, it was she who helped instill the hope of those around. She is a fearless ballplayer who is solid on both ends of the floor. She can score it from multiple levels, drop dimes like no other, and lock up on the defensive end. Clemson is getting a gym rat who is going to impact the program in more ways than one. When the ball is in her hands, good things tend to happen. She is a heady floor general who can help will a team to victory. This kid is great in a one v one situation or coming over a screen where she can either snake the action or handcuff a defender. She hasn't committed yet, but when she does, the next program will get a steal in this young lady. She is a throwback kid who brings physicality to the table. She's going to own the interior on both ends, making it tough for opponents. She's a menace on the boards, a lost art in the game, as she prides herself on going after rebounds.
