Exciting Prospects for the Upcoming Basketball Season

No, I am not trying to wish the fall season away. I love football, but gosh, thinking about basketball just gives me chills. What excites me even more when thinking about the game is the potential kids have. I get excited about the unknown/ development of a player. You never know when the maturation of a prospect will kick in. When it does, anything is possible.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are tons of girls who will be popping up on the radar this upcoming season. Some may have already arrived, while others will be new names that you will see consistently. Either way, these kids will be contributors for their ballclubs and will be girls we will keep tabs on for years to come. She can facilitate an offense, knock down 3s, but she really excels when she utilizes her speed to get to the rim. Another attribute that stands out is her ability to defend. She is going to be active with her hands and feet as she causes chaos. A quiet assassin who can play with or without the ball in her hands. She has a deadly eye for putting the ball through the net, and she can do that in multiple ways. From dialing it up from 3 to getting to the rim, she uses that lefty stroke to add up points in the scoring column. A solid ballplayer who is a threat on both ends of the floor. This kid is that “Rosie the Riveter” type of player who just competes. She's tough around the painted area and exploits the mid-range. Her big thing is her ability to guard and rebound the basketball. She is going to give you points from various spots on the floor, but she, too, will step it up on the defensive end, making it difficult for opponents to operate. She can block shots, get steals/ deflections, and become another body that rebounds the basketball. Her size alone poses as a threat, which deters offenses from choosing an alternate route. I love her mental makeup as she is willing to go toe-to-toe with any opponent. Prepare to get her best effort as she is going to find ways to impact the game.
