Fall Rankings Update - 11 New Additions to the 2028 Class

<a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2028-rankings/">FULL 2028 RANKINGS - CLICK ME!</a>   These 2028's caught my eye over the summer and are some great additions to our 2028 rankings.    Deaver will be a key player for the Bombers in the future.  She primarily played JV last season but I anticipate her breaking her way into valuable varsity minutes this season.  She is a solid 5'8 and has the strength and athleticism to contribute on the defensive end.  She is long and an unselfish player with the ball.  She looks like the type of girl who isn't afraid to put in the work and get better.     Lily is another 2028 who has potential to be a really good high school basketball player.  She runs well and is very strong around the basket.  She is an above average athlete who plays really hard.  She crashes the offensive glass, she rim runs in transition, and she is savvy in the short corner.  She can knock down the outside shot with a smooth looking form.     Kuntz will be a big-time contributor for the Titans going forward. She played primarily JV last year due to TGU's loaded upper-classmen. She will find herself with a valuable role this season as a primary ball-handler. She has a good hesitation dribble which allows her to get past her defender. She is solid on the other side of the ball as well. She turns her opponent multiple times and does a great job of closing the gap on drives.     Rylyn is one of many 2028's on New Salem who found varsity minutes last season as freshman. She creates a lot of her scoring opportunities based off of her stellar defensive play. She converts steals into layups and is fast going to the basket on her drives. She plays with her hands up defensively, screens well, and runs the floor hard.     Ryden is another 2028 guard for New Salem who saw significant minutes as a freshman. She spaces the floor well with her shooting ability. She gets her feet set on the perimeter and has a quick release. She runs the floor hard in transition which puts pressure on opponents' defenses. She has a solid frame with the ability to get stronger and faster as she progresses throughout high school.     Yanish was one of the primary ball-handlers for her squad. She does a nice job of going back to the ball for easy outlet passes and pushing the ball in transition. She stretches the floor with her three-point shooting ability. She spaces the floor well with the ball and gets her team into their offense. She is a promising young prospect.     Kendall has potential to be a very good high school player.  She has the frame and athleticism to find herself on an All-Region team at some point in her career.  She is great at closing out to the ball and is a fantastic rebounder.  She keeps the ball high and secures it with both hands.  She is also very strong at driving to her right, oftentimes finishing through contact and getting to the free-throw line.     Every team needs someone who is like a bulldozer out on defense and Natalee fits that role to perfection.  She plays incredibly hard and goes all out in every facet of the game.  She pursues offensive rebounds with conviction and runs the floor hard.  She is in stance and moves well when the ball is swung around, always fighting for post positioning.     Venice is someone who will be a key contributor for Richardton/Taylor in the future.  She does a lot of guard skills really well for a young player.  It will be a lot of fun to see how she progresses in 2025-2026.  She is a great on-ball defender, always in stance with her arms high and wide. She cuts well to the basket and passes the ball well.  I like how she hustles on the court and her desire to get on the ground for extra possessions.     Ayrison is another excellent prospect in the 2028 class. She is long and athletic, and runs well for a forward. She has great anticipation defensively and does a great job of jumping passing lanes for steals. She plays off of two feet in the half-court, minimizing turnovers for her squad. She also is a timely shot-maker, not afraid of the big moments.     I really like how Ella plays basketball.  She is very fast and has excellent vision in transition.  She can create turnovers and push the ball herself.  She does a good job of driving and making opponents guard her before dumping a pass off to a cutting teammate.  She is only a 2028, so she has potential to be a great high school player.
