Freshman Showcase: Team 6 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our Freshman Showcase gave a lot of young athletes the ability to display their talent and skills against some of the other top athletes in the Kansas/Missouri area. Team 6 was stacked with talent, skill and high IQ athletes. Played with great effort and intensity at the showcase. Made some great passes off of penetration. She also showed her ability to shoot the three, and create for her teammates and herself off the dribble. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1278011' first='Ashley' last='Fuentes'], 5'7, Guard, Olathe West, [program_tooltip program_id='712586' first='KC' last='Dream']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>By far one of the top 2 guards in the camp.&nbsp; Handled the ball very well, and maneuvered around the court to get to her spots for pull up jump shots or all the way to the basket.&nbsp; Her ability to score at will as well as defend is what made her very impressive and stood out in the showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1313890' first='Payton' last='Lewis'], 5'8, Guard, Eudora High, [program_tooltip program_id='712586' first='KC' last='Dream']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Payton was very impressive at the showcase.&nbsp; She had her scoring abilities on full display.&nbsp; I watched her push it in transition into a pull up three, and the next position come off a ball screen into a two dribble pull up.&nbsp; She also showed her ability to defend as well as some high level athleticism by blocking shots. &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1049058' first='Evelyn' last='Tiburzi'], 5'10, Guard, Ursuline, Phee Elite</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moved well without the ball, and was always around the ball due to her energy and effort.&nbsp; She chased after loose balls and crashed the glass well for a guard. She also made some really good passes to teammates for easy baskets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='905893' first='Eyani' last='Mills'], 6'1, Forward, St. Teresea's Academy, FBC United</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most versatile player in the showcase. Her length and athleticism combined are an absolute cheat code.
