Here's the deal: stop whining about me not writing or ranking players who don't "seize the opportunity" for me to see them. I sent a personal invite to any MIDDLE SCHOOL player who felt they could HANG at the showcase and 6 punched their ticket with authority, so here ya go, oh yeah, #ThereIsNoMe and never will be

Carlton is proving that old saying "third time's a charm," as I caught her back in May at Queen Of The South, see evaluation here, and more recently at #SouthwestShowcase, see evaluation here, so watching her maneuver off the dribble to score and finish strongly during the 3 on 3 was nice yet her "catch and shoot" with a hand her face had me smiling because that is going to create so problems. Nice upside because she "thinks the game" and reacts well in certain situations

Holmes might not be related to Sherlock, yet her detective skills in figuring things out defensively grabbed my attention early in the 3 on 3 as she actually understood how and when to switch, and that translated over to the 5 on 5 because not only did she apply heat in the set, she manned up baseline to baseline to help create turnovers. She also rebounded strongly on both ends, scored around the basket, putbacks included, and off the dribble

Davis has been "THAT GIRL" since I saw her initially in the 4th grade and dropped #D1Lock on her because, like a Polaroid, I'm able to watch things that will develop on the court in the blink of an eye. I also labeled her a "nightmare to defend" and seeing her take sophomores at will using the crossover, as well as spin move to score, yes, she played in the 2028 group, there was plenty of buzz going about her, yet the FINAL buzzer hasn't sounded as her UPSIDE is scary, not for me but those defending her and one more time "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against"

Current caught my eye at the #TJShowcase, and I had a chance to meet her dad, who was coaching her, and not once did he mention how good she was; it was all about the team, and that brought me back to when I was coaching my own daughter. Well, the CURRENT is about to change as she was one of the TOP players at the event. Watching her block shots and score acrobatically off the dribble in the 3 on 3 had me smiling, yet seeing her explode off the dribble in transition during the 5 on 5 JUST DID IT for me. Her first step in the set was a problem, so was her jumper, either the "stop and pop" or the "catch and shoot"

Glazener is one of those #sizedontmatter guards, and one more time, "it doesn't matter when you can play, so let me start with her INTANGIBLES, GOOGLE IT, and her being HEADY and not only handling the ball under pressure but seeing the floor while being tightly defended fall into another thing I love seeing in players, "things you can't teach". She scored or dished off the dribble, she dropped the jumper from midrange, she did a good job defending, and drumroll please, she played the passing lane

Boyd is the other [player_tooltip player_id='976559' first='Trinity' last='Boyd'], who is going to be a problem. Wait, I hadn't seen her in over a year, but she's ALREADY A PROBLEM, so let me back it up to her also being a #sizedontmatter guard who I personally drop 5 or 6 thirty footers in a game, with a hand in her face a while back, so let's fast forward to now where her crossover was so smooth and fast that it just "dropped the mic". Her first step is even better, so is her body control after contact, but let me say this, "the game has and will always start at the 1" and she will be ONE of the top PG's in TEXAS
