Everyone who was in to watch this event today has been very impressed with CG/SG 2029 - [player_tooltip player_id='897131' first='Stella' last='Burgher']. Burgher is a solid guard overall with everything she brings to the floor. She has a high upside as a seasoned difference maker whenever she has the ball in her possession but she can also move away from the play, continuing to make a lasting impact. Lincoln Christian has another talented 2029 group coming in this Winter and Burgher is in that conversation. No doubt about it.

You can't teach height. Plan and simple. Thats what [player_tooltip player_id='1277900' first='Neva' last='Mackie'] has. Natural height at 6'0, a solid feel for the game in general, and a lot of promise. Her touch on the ball is very good for her age and she doesn't seem to get caught up in the minimal things that might impact younger prospects. With this only being a 2029, the sky is really the limit. I'd be shocked if she didn't see some quality minutes in some capability this Winter at Elkhorn South. There is a lot to like here, she just needs to continue to work on her weaknesses and the rest will be history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1277175' first='Emerey' last='Pietzyk'] of Lincoln Standing Bear will be producing Varsity prospect this Winter within her program. Pietzyk is listed as a SG/SF but she has competed more as a PG at this event, setting up everyone else around her with her creating ability off the dribble. She has also demonstrated that she can handle her 1v1 matchups. She stays in front of her opponent with quick feet and it's noticeable. All of those things combined together to make a solid prospect at this time. Now it's all about continuing to grow from this point.

We heard a little bit about [player_tooltip player_id='1311871' first='Kallyn' last='Kassebaum'] prior to this event and everything we heard was true from the looks of it. Kassebaum is a 6'0 player from the 2029 Class. She will attend Lincoln Christian this Winter and I'm sure she might even start. Kassebaum checks off a lot of boxes. That's the simplest way to put it and she hasn't even stepped onto the Varsity floor yet this Winter. She can be your anchor as a PG coming down the floor or she can move off of the rock and still be a main producer on both offense and defense. We are still early in this event but so good, so far from Kassebaum.
