Seifert gave me a glimpse of what's coming at a club basketball tryout before the season started (see evaluation here). As I write over and over, one thing I look for is "on the court" progression, so watching players "figure things out on their own" is so important. She's had a growth spurt and is more explosive off the dribble yet her court vision, especially in transition, has gotten better, as well as her "on the ball" defense in the set, as well as baseline to baseline

Swann is a "long and athletic" guard who falls into THE BASE group. She handled the ball smoothly and saw the floor under pressure. She's also heady, and her decision-making tells me a lot about her upside, so her deceptive first step was solid, as she used it to get the defender off balance to attack and score. She also did a good job rebounding and defending in the set

Surmons had a chance to open things up, showing @playerrimidies her ability to score a variety of ways in the 3 on 3 competition, see evaluation here, but when the curtain was raised and she had a chance to perform in the 5 on 5, she added even more, like creating havoc defensively and doing something I love seeing, playing the passing lane. She did a good job rebounding and handling the ball afterward, plus her finishing after contact was also a plus

Current showed me something very important during the event, see evaluation here, and that is her "ceiling has no roof". Let me overemphasize one more time that "it's not what you do, it's who you do it against" and with her showing she wasn't fazed playing against the older players JUST DID IT for me. A couple of things I look for from younger players playing up is how they react in certain situations and their ability to do things instinctively, and trust me, she's on the verge of something big

Ternet grabbed my attention over a year ago, see evaluation here, and my exact words were "she's showing signs of being hard to handle" and when I say something, I'm talking from years of experience and more importantly, common sense because I am a REAL EVALUATOR. Fast forward to her being REAL, diving on the floor for loose balls gets her the #THROWBACK hashtag, and that, as well as her "on the ball" defense, which has shot up, speaks volumes. She's also creating her shot under pressure better, and her "stop and pop" jumper was clicking

Baker was added to the rankings via memorex see evaluation here, You know, is it live or is it memorex? If you don't know GOOGLE IT, so seeing her in person, even at not being a a hunnid percent, is what separates me from someone "throwing a mic in your face and guessing", so here's the deal, she's more powerful around the basket than I saw on the tape, and her finishing after contact looked good. She moves fluidly on both ends, dropped the short jumper and saw the floor, so when I said her UPSIDE is solid, you better believe it is

Green had me seeing red as my first impression was a lasting one, and when I stopped and took a double-take, thinking, did she do that, I was fortunate enough to see it again. Her timing to block shots, coming from the weak side of nowhere or straight up guarding her man, had me smiling. Her defense inside the paint looked good, she rebounded on both ends, and just a couple of inches shy of "the magic number", she showed she could attack from the wing and finish using solid body control

Lester continues to amaze me as I recall her taking a hard hit a few years ago, see evaluations here, which had me thinking she was done, only to come back and drop a 3 for the win, so I knew what was coming. She continues to show me "she still ain't done" and being #sizedontmatter doesn't mean anything because she's one of the toughest guards in her class. She set the defender up nicely to attack and score, after included but her body control aided her acrobatic finishes. Her court vision across the board looked good; she dropped the jumper from mid to long range, and her "on the ball" pressure was also solid
