This past Saturday, September 20th, Prep Girls Hoops hosted another high-level showcase for juniors and seniors at the Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon, Indiana. The event brought together some of the state's top talent, featuring players from Northeast, Northwest, Central, and Southern Indiana. The day was packed with competitive drills, live 3-on-3 sessions, 5-man weaves, and full 5-on-5 games, giving athletes the perfect stage to display their skills. Among the many talented players in attendance, several wings stood out for their scoring ability, athleticism, and overall impact on the floor. These players demonstrated a mix of shooting, driving, and defensive prowess, making them some of the most exciting prospects at the showcase. Whether it was knocking down shots from the perimeter, attacking the rim with speed and precision, or making plays on both ends of the court, these wings left a lasting impression on coaches and spectators alike. As you read on, you'll discover the top performers who truly shined throughout the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='761189' first='Makayla' last='Triplett'] stood out at the showcase with her combination of athleticism, length, and versatility on the wing. She attacks the rim with confidence, using her size to create space and get shots off over defenders, and demonstrates strong ball-handling skills, particularly in transition. On defense, her wingspan and quick hands make her a disruptive presence she consistently challenges shots, pressures the ball, and generates turnovers. Makayla's high motor, skill set, and basketball IQ position her to be a major contributor on both ends of the floor for the Fishers Tigers as she enters her senior season. A versatile two-way player capable of impacting the game inside and out, Makayla projects as a key leader and difference-maker for her team.

Jordin Sauls, though listed as an Illinois forward, made a strong impression during the Indiana showcase, demonstrating a versatile and well-rounded game. In the 5-on-5 session, she consistently showcased her ability to score in multiple ways—whether posting up inside, finishing around the rim, or stepping out for mid-range opportunities. Her rebounding stood out as well; she has a natural nose for the ball, positioning herself effectively to grab boards on both ends of the floor. One of the most notable aspects of Jordin's game during the showcase was her developing confidence handling the basketball in transition. She displayed a willingness and ability to push the pace, attack the rim, and make plays off the dribble. As she enters her senior season, Jordin appears poised to be a major contributor for her high school team.

[player_tooltip player_id='624884' first='Shaniyah' last='Stout'] made a strong impression at her position, consistently showing her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She demonstrated excellent activity and awareness, moving well without the ball to find open spots and create scoring opportunities. During the 5-on-5 session, Shaniyah displayed a high basketball IQ, positioning herself effectively in the corners and wings to knock down open shots when teammates found her. Her ball-handling skills stood out, particularly in transition. She confidently pushed the pace, making smart decisions while attacking the rim and creating opportunities for herself and others. What was most impressive, however, was her physicality and strength with the basketball. When driving to the basket, she was able to absorb contact, finish through defenders, and consistently put pressure on the defense. As she enters her senior year at Elkhart, Shaniyah is poised to be a major contributor on both offense and defense. Her combination of strength, skill, and basketball IQ makes her a versatile player capable of impacting the game in a variety of ways, and she should continue to be a go-to option for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1315715' first='Aleah' last='Singleton'], an unrated forward from Franklin Community, made a noticeable impact at the wing position during the showcase. One of her standout strengths was her effectiveness coming off pick-and-roll actions. She consistently made smart reads, either attacking the basket or finding teammates in scoring positions, showing a strong understanding of spacing and timing. Aleah's physicality stood out when attacking the basket from the wing. She plays with a balance of strength and agility, able to finish through contact and create scoring opportunities in traffic. Equally impressive is her quickness she can get to the rim in a hurry, forcing defenses to react quickly and often giving her an advantage in transition or on the break. Her combination of skill, athleticism, and basketball IQ gives her the potential to make a significant jump as she enters her junior season. With continued growth and experience playing at the varsity level, Aleah is poised to become a key contributor for Franklin Community, impacting both ends of the floor and providing versatility on the wing.

[player_tooltip player_id='750923' first='Avery' last='Losh'] is steadily carving out her own identity on the court, and she showcased a lot of her abilities during the 5-on-5 session at the showcase. One of her most noticeable strengths is her ability to heat up quickly from beyond the arc. When she gets going, she can stretch the floor and create significant scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Offensively, Avery demonstrates a strong sense of timing and court awareness. She makes smart reads, positioning herself to either pull up for a shot or drive to the rim effectively. A detail that stands out in her game is her technique when receiving the ball—she consistently shows her hands before catching, whether she's preparing to shoot or pass. This subtle skill helps the offense flow smoothly and is something that is not always common at this stage. As she enters her junior season at Hamilton Southeastern, Avery projects to be a valuable contributor off the bench for the Royals. With the graduation of a talented class, her ability to shoot, handle the ball, and make quick decisions in transition or half-court settings will be important for the team's success. With continued development, she has the potential to expand her role and become a consistent scoring threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='751096' first='Lily' last='Burns'] immediately stands out as a player who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. During the showcase, she displayed impressive defensive ability, using her length effectively to block shots, secure rebounds, and generate steals. Her timing and awareness on defense allow her to disrupt opponents consistently and make high-impact plays. Offensively, Lily showed a strong, versatile skill set. She has a quick release on her shot, making it difficult for defenders to contest, and she demonstrates confident ball-handling, whether pushing the pace in transition or attacking the rim in half-court situations. Beyond scoring, her vision and decision-making allow her to facilitate the offense, showing she can comfortably handle the point and create opportunities for her teammates. What makes Lily particularly versatile is her ability to contribute in multiple ways scoring, distributing, and defending while maintaining composure and control of the game. As she enters her first season playing varsity with the Fishers Tigers, Lily projects to be a key contributor and a player who can help lead the team to success with her all-around game and high basketball IQ.
