Makayla Triplett Makayla Triplett 5'11" | PF Fishers | 2026 IN stood out at the showcase with her combination of athleticism, length, and versatility on the wing. She attacks the rim with confidence, using her size to create space and get shots off over defenders, and demonstrates strong ball-handling skills, particularly in transition. On defense, her wingspan and quick hands make her a disruptive presence she consistently challenges shots, pressures the ball, and generates turnovers. Makayla’s high motor, skill set, and basketball IQ position her to be a major contributor on both ends of the floor for the Fishers Tigers as she enters her senior season. A versatile two-way player capable of impacting the game inside and out, Makayla projects as a key leader and difference-maker for her team.

Makayla saw some quality rotation minutes as a Junior for an always-good Fishers team. This year, look for her to step into a much more central role along their frontline. She has nice length, wiry strength, bounce, and she can get out and run the floor. She has always been more comfortable as a rebounder and defender who gets opportunistic scores off of others, but I felt like in what limited time I was able to see her throughout the Spring, she looked more aggressive attacking the basket.

Makayla is a long, wiry-strong, athletic forward who has always flashed nice potential. She is somewhat bouncy, and she plays with a motor, but in the past, she has typically been more of a rebounder/defender type. Now, she’s starting to show more of an offensive game, with some aggression, especially in the mid-post. At the same time, she’s taking care of the ball better and defending better around the perimeter. I would expect with her talent and developing skill, she could possibly help Fishers quite a bit this Winter.
