Davis was THAT GIRL the first time I saw her because she did things instinctively playing 4 years up and showed pressure was irrelevant. Watching her expand her game to yet another level each time I saw her tells me a lot about what's coming, so I already dropped my eval on her from the event see it right here

Dorris showed out during the 3 on 3 and what impressed me immeditely was her intensity and she brought that on both ends see evaluation here One more time, I love things you can teach and HER DESIRE was defintitely something that will be a huge plus as her game continues to grow

Williams falls into that "hard to handle" group because she can use the slight HEZ to attack and finish or explode powerfully off the dribble to score, nice body control after contact. Her "stop and pop" jumper looked good, so did her court vision in the set as well as in transition. She also played the passing lane and applied "on the ball" defense and that, coupled with quick hands picked some pockets

Mayberry is a "long and athletic" guard which is the base and seeing her attack and finish strongly after contact was nice, but she also did a good job dishing off the dribble. Her court vision across the board looked good. She created her shot in the set and dropped it while being defended and she also did a good job defending in the set, recognizing switches as well as beating the offensive player to the spot and making them pick up their dribble

Johnson stock continues to rise, like the way she elevates over defenders with her jumper. As good as she was when I caught her 2 or 3 years ago, something has clicked in a major way and I saw that happening back in July as she climbed into the Top 20 see evaluation here What's unique about her is she has the ability to score changing hands in mid air and I forsee her becoming one of the best open court players in her class. Jumper was clicking, she played the passing lane strongly and applied baseline to baseline heat

Ekwu has a several pluses going for her without even stepping on the court. First of all, she stands at "the magic number" which is 6'0 and why is that magic? Because school has started and I've had 7 college coaches asking if I knew anyone who fit that profile, it happens every year. She also has a "college ready" frame so seeing her move fluidly inside the paint to rebound, on both ends, as well as defend was nice, so was her giving me a glimpse of the "hands and footwork" to score. Her timing to block shots also looked good

Washington came out off the top applying heat defensively and stripped the ball a few times, she did that instinctively, as well as dove for loose balls yet she also used her body to score off the dribble and contact was irrelevant. Just for fun, she gave me the "catch and shoot" while being defended

MCClendon was one of ther top defenders I saw at the event and her energy level stayed the same no matter placing her in that "never takes a play off" group. Her "on the ball" pressure baseline to baseline was not only smothering but it created havoc which led to turnovers as she knew how to switch, as well as regroup. She also showed a nice first step to attack and score and she saw the floor well

Bryant is on the verge of breaking out as she was one of the top performers in Houston a couple of weeks ago and showed out during the 3 on 3 as well see evaluation here and seeing her want the ball under pressure and shoot it with confidence speaks volumes about what's coming. She hit teammates from 20 feet or more in transition, in traffic yet she also extended her range and played solid defense
