Calling Bryant an undervalued player could be a huge understatement considering what she has been able to put together on the basketball court. She is a strong, quick, assertive and relentless guard that will serve as a driving force for the Captain Shreve squad. Shreve plays man to man and guards 94ft, and Bryant is leader in that department. She flies all over the court and hangs her hat on her defensive game. She is a turnover machine and her energy travels to her young teammates creating an environment of supreme confidence. On the offensive side of the ball, she has developed a steady mid-range shot, but she is physical and enjoys the brutal side of the game and constantly pressures the defense to get to the goal. Bryant is a player you want on your roster, in your locker room and most of all on the court. The 5A Division just may have new contenders.

Edgerson is the tandem intimidator in the Shreve defensive guard line-up, and her dedication to building her physical frame along with basketball skill development make her one of the bigger potential game changers in the state. Shreve is going to be a problem, and Kylise is one of the reasons. Much like her teammate Bryant, she is a defensive catalyst, but she is also exciting in the open court, a trusted finisher around the rim, and because of her constant movement towards the ball, she is an exceptional rebounder. She is a bully on defense, and a cerebral offensive player as she has steadily developed into a complete player that can play in different roles on a winning team. Edgerson also possesses those leadership characteristics that you want to see in an upperclassman that promotes winning. I will say it again. Watch out for Captain Shreve.

Brothers spent most of her junior season recovering, and all of her AAU Summer improving. Brothers is playing the game with a chip on her shoulder. She looks to be around 6'0 and is protecting the paint like its personal. All of her skills are polished, and she is as confident as ever on the court. She is a traditional post player that runs the floor well and fights for every rebound. On defense she moves well and clearly understands the game. Her Senior season could be considered a breakout season considering her play on the AAU Circuit and School summer ball. She has picked up several offers, she is playing the game at a high level and trusting her dedication to growth. Call her the come-back kid. This one is back to make up for lost time, and to show those that may have forgotten, that she is a force on the court.

Ashcraft is kind of an enigma, because it is unclear how to classify her game. SHe could be labeled as a shooter. She is elite from the three-point line and can shoot from any spot behind the arc. She could be labeled a facilitator, because she plays the game with her head up always looking to create plays for her teammates. She could actually be considered a post player, because she has the size and build to play the 3 or 4 position depending on what her team needs. Her game has come full circle, and her efforts have been rewarded by almost a dozen offers since the AAU season has come to a close. Ashcraft is a swiss army knife on the offensive side of the ball and her senior season will be one to watch for sure.

Fisher won the District 2-5A MVP as a Junior and it was based on her all around game. She is a traditional point guard and she fills up the stat sheet based on what's required of her from game to game. When playing with a traditional big, she will work the ball inside. Pair her with some slashers, and she will show her IQ. Give her a soft defender, and that will be the game where she demonstrates her offensive skill. She is equally impressive on the defensive side which makes her a double threat in the game. Her mid-range shot is consistent, and she can knock down the three ball in catch and shoot situations adding more to her impressive skill set. Fisher plays in possibly what could turn out to be the toughest District in the state, so her skills will surely be on full display as she looks to finish her high school year with a deep State Championship run.
