The updated 2028 College Prospect Rankings are here, and this class is still taking shape. With this group being younger, these rankings lean more toward physical attributes and long-term projection than polished skill sets. Size, athleticism, and positional tools carry more weight right now, since there's still plenty of time for players to grow and refine their overall game.

These are COLLEGE prospect rankings, meaning OFFICIAL OFFERS play a major role in player movement. D1 and D2 offers typically place players near the top, while D3, NAIA, and JUCO prospects will be listed further down the list.

High school or AAU accolades and stats don't hold much weight, as competition levels differ between seasons. What matters most is how each player projects at the next level... factors like length, speed, athletic upside, versatility, and positional fit stand out most in this stage of evaluation.

At this point, it's starting to become clear which players are ahead of the curve physically and which ones are still developing into their college potential. The Watch List features a solid mix of D2/D3 to JUCO-level prospects still being closely evaluated as they continue to grow.

Ashcraft should be able to display this HS season whats she showed over the summer. She's a player that can play on and off the ball, and stretch the court on the offensive side. Rolling Meadows has some solid talent in the post area, which should allow Morgan to showcase her playmaking abilities as well.

Lake Zurich will be on everyone's watch list this year, and its guard position is strong. And if Cooper is getting some solid minutes at the varsity level, there are a variety of ways she can contribute. Defensively is where she'll stick out. The lateral movement is quick, she's up for the challenge, and doesn't seem to have fear in her approach on this side of the ball, either.

The defensive end of the floor, she will be able to develop into a paint blanket over time, and there's no rush with that.
Linden is one of those players who can change the outcome of a game simply by the energy she brings on every possession. She stays in constant motion and never seems to let a rebound go without trying to make a play on the boards. Offensively, she can get it from all angles.
