Our first Marquee Event is coming up within the next month, and with teams coming in from all over the country, it's going to be a great weekend of competitive basketball. We'll be covering the full field, but there's something special about following the Illinois programs as they play against different competition outside the state. Below are a few more Illinois programs and a couple of their top talent to follow.

M14

[player_tooltip player_id='881341' first='Brooklyn' last='Schilb'] - Brooklyn is one of the best players in prospects in the state, and she still has a couple of levels to add on to an already impressive skillset. I always mention her frame, simply because it allows her to truly be a 1-5 type of threat. She has all the signs of a college program changing player, but truly gives off the i just want to win atttitude which shows how great of a teammate she is.

[player_tooltip player_id='882110' first='Lucy' last='Tierney'] - The confidence that Lucy has gained this year will easily translate to playing against different competition. She's been tasked as the go to 3&D player for her high school program, and when you're building an AAU program, your first piece is always a glue piece, a player that you don't have to worry about finding a role for, because they can find it on their own, depending on what the game needs. Big fan of this kid, and the potential is there. Will forsure turn some heads.

Lady Lightning

[player_tooltip player_id='954123' first='Lillian' last='Green'] - Green will be suiting up for a program that has been dominating the girls' basketball scene for decades, and she fits in perfectly with a system that seems to just let their players play. Her playstyle is free-flowing and smooth, but she is as active as they come without the ball in her hands. A knockdown shooter and a player who can control the game based on her own tempo.

Lillian Sizemore - When it comes to scoring the ball, there aren't many players in her class who can keep up, while being consistent. She has a wide variety of moves, but has the IQ of when to look to break down her defender, or when to simply see the angle and attack. Lady Lighting usually finds themselves in tough group divisions, which will give us a better look at how Sizemore adjusts her game with tougher competition.

[program_tooltip program_id='714232' first='Pink' last='Elite']

[player_tooltip player_id='743587' first='Annabelle' last='Kritzer'] - Kritzer has the edge when it comes to being one of the best paint blankets in her class, let alone the state, and with a player who is mobile and agile, her length can swing every possession in [program_tooltip program_id='714232' first='Pink' last='Elite']s' favor. She doesn't seem afraid of the contact either, and has no problem stepping 12 ft out and beyond to knock down those shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='964921' first='Isabelle' last='Fernandez']- Izzy is one of those players who works on her game from morning to night, and the work over the years are showing. She has the handles, the IQ, and the competitiveness, and a huge amount of confidence that really sets her apart. [program_tooltip program_id='714232' first='Pink' last='Elite'] will be a fun team to watch this year, and if you're pairing Izzy up with some mobile bigs, and wing shooters.. youll be in for a show.

Heart Of Illinois

[player_tooltip player_id='863991' first='Cora' last='Heinz']- Cora can throw her name in the hat with being noted as one of the most improved players in the state. Her role in her high school program increased a lot, but so did her skillset. The confidence and freedom she's playing with will forsure carry over to travel season, and she'll be one of those players that will have coaches asking tons of questions.

[player_tooltip player_id='905482' first='Jada' last='Brown'] - Brown has continued her dominance this season, and there's no slowing down. When the AAU season kicks off.. you can bet that she'll be one of those top performers in every game she plays. She is all hustle and energy, but also has a strong and solid skillset that allows her to play 3-5. The upside is there, and I'm sure she'll stack on more D1 offers as time goes on.

[program_tooltip program_id='715556' first='Illinois' last='Dream']

[player_tooltip player_id='1221375' first='Emma' last='Kenney'] - The Dream continues to have players that can fit in almost any system, simply cause theyre taught to play the right way. Kenney fits that bill. She's a lengthy player who is never in the same spot for too long, and knows when to look for her own shot, or to make a play for someone else. She can stretch the floor from the midrange to the arc, and has the strength and awareness to be a real problem in the paint. A player who won't be on our watchlist for very long.

[player_tooltip player_id='1219805' first='Kaitlyn' last='Davis'] - Players who simply play basketball without all of the extra flair.. always stand out to me, and Davis is one of those players. She takes what the defense gives her, and she creates off of that. She can light you up from outside (never hesitates on her jumpers), or she will wait patiently for the offense to develop, use a screen, and get to the midrange. She's at her best when she's shooting, but has all the skills to be one of the best facilitating guards on the court.
