[player_tooltip player_id='1354536' first='Rhianen' last='Myers'] showed up on the stat sheet every game last Winter for her Anselmo-Merna High School team at the PG position. This Winter she will be looked upon for even more production now that her teammates knows what she can really do. Myers should be a steady facilitator, a creative scorer, an ample rebounder, and an adaptable overall talent over the next two years on the Varsity floor. She has better than average size for her Class and position, which will help her handle her matchups more thoroughly. Now she just needs to go out and make it happen.

I'm not sure what to expect out of [player_tooltip player_id='884235' first='Shayla' last='Rautenberg'] this season other than a lot of action near the bucket on both offense and defense. Rautenberg, a 6'4 C/PF, is a D1 level talent in the sport of Volleyball and I'm sure she will have some interest from the D1 level in basketball as well. It's not everyday that you see a player with this height at 6'4 and when you pair that with her athletic ability + coordination then you start to see the vision that some coaching staff's could possess. This is a player that handles the inside of the paint with ease. She is a top notch defender that opposing team's have to game-plan against, while also being a steady scoring threat on the offensive end. I have a feeling that she will choose Volleyball at the end of the day when it comes down to it but until then, she is going to kill it while competing in this sport.

It's never easy coming off of a State Title. You have a target on your back and everyone circles your team as the matchup they want to play that year. No matter if you are rivals or not but Oakland-Craig will return and look to make some more noise right off the bat. The main producer returning will be CG - [player_tooltip player_id='820511' first='Briar' last='Ray']. Ray put up over 12 PPG and 6.5 RPG last Winter and with their loss of production due to graduation, she will be looked upon to do even more this time around. Which is 100% do-able. If her team works their system correctly and she keeps it simple, this is a group that should be able to go places once again.

Yutan is going to put together another winning season this Winter and a big part of that will be due to the production of [player_tooltip player_id='757583' first='Mylee' last='Tichota'] at the PG spot. Tichota is someone with great size for her position with an impressive understanding of the game. She is fairly athletic and one of those types that is willing to be the first on the ground or into the stands for a loose ball. She is always willing to throw herself into the action, no questions ask and that is something you love to see from a coaching perspective. With this team bringing in some transfers and players like Tichota returning, they should fair pretty well as the Winter moves toward the Playoffs come 2026.
