Hoopsource Overtime Battles Close Out Fall Ball

This week, games heated up as fall ball came to a close for the Hoopsource. I scouted games in Washington, at Evergreen and Skyview High School. Two of the five games that I watched, ended in overtime. The crowds were rowdy, the refs were letting things get pretty rough out there. Some teams had five coaches on the bench, as if stakes were at there highest level.   The sport sure has gotten a lot more physical over the years. Crowd management and larger gym facilities might need to be considered for next season, when hosting such large groups. Now let's recap this week's exciting standout players.    [player_tooltip player_id='842685' first='Siri' last='Lindsey'] is a standout senior combo guard from Lincoln High School. She plays for Tru Game at the highest level of competition for Adidas 3SSB. Siri has a high level of IQ knowledge on the court. She's a great team leader and takes charge under pressure against her opponents. When her team needs uplifting, Siri is there to encourage them to keep going. With a positive attitude and smile off the court, Siri carries herself with integrity in her community. On the floor, she has a lot of determination and confidence. She's a sharp shooter and can knock down shots under pressure. This year will be exciting to watch her play in her final year at Lincoln. Keep up the great work Siri!     [player_tooltip player_id='586247' first='Kimora' last='Ross'] is a standout senior combo guard for Evergreen High School. She plays for the [program_tooltip program_id='715278' first='Northwest' last='Greyhounds'] for their AAU program. Kimora handles the ball extremely well while under pressure. She is the team leader on the court and plays with extreme confidence. This past weekend, Kimora thrived under pressure to pull her team out of a big deficit and carry them to victory in overtime. She was knocking down three-point shots down the stretch. This coming season, Evergreen should be a tough team with Kimora leading the pack. It will be exciting to see how they do in Washington.       Annalaya Manning is a standout junior combo guard from Oregon City High School. It's shocking to me that she is not already in the rankings. She's one of the states most underrated players. Laya is tough! She plays with a lot of heart. I have had the honor of scouting Laya now for both summer and fall ball. She's a sharp shooter. She is a tough defender. She's super athletic and strong. She's a court leader and is very good at communicating. She's not shy to help her teammates and tell them where they need to be. She's the first one to lift them up too during and after games. Laya is a very intelligent player as well. She excels in the classroom and is scheduled to graduate ahead of her class with honors. It will be exciting to watch her play this upcoming season for Oregon City. Colleges start tapping in with this fierce competitor. Keep working hard Laya, it's going to pay off.     [player_tooltip player_id='1232853' first='Jasa' last='Lindsey'] is a rising sophomore out of Lincoln High School. She is a quick combo guard and stands out for her defense and her hustle. With an impressive wingspan, she is great at intercepting passes and blocking shots. She has great court vision and can knock down shots from around the perimeter. This upcoming season will be exciting as she plays alongside her sister Siri. Be on the lookout for this dynamic duo at Lincoln High School.
