Michigan’s Favorite to Win Miss Basketball–VOTE NOW
BCAM's Miss Basketball Award is the most prestigious honor awarded to a special senior every year. The selection process is meticulous and thorough. As the qualified senior list is narrowed down into a group of 20 or so, the committee votes to determine which girls are included as Finalists for the ballot. The Finalists for any given year can range between four to six; there were five Finalists on the ballot in 2025. Once the Finalists are selected, BCAM members vote--assigning points to the top three candidates, which determines the winner. Anna Wypych received 444 first-place votes and 3,148 total points--running away with the 44th Miss Basketball Award.
Postseason success and statistical dominance play a crucial role in the selection process. All five Finalists in 2025 were 1,000-point scorers and averaged at least 14 points per game as a senior. My top 16 candidates that I believe will be under consideration by the committee are included below. I know who my predicted winner is, but I want to hear what the community thinks!
