NC Lady Phenom Top 80 Camp: Award Winners for 2028/2029/2030

Lady Phenom hosted their annual North Carolina Top 80 camp at Rise Indoor Sports in Bermuda Run, NC . The camp brought in top players all across the state representing classes 2026-2030.    This kid has a high motor on both ends of the court. Defensively, she makes plays because she is constantly hounding the ball hander. Her deflections and steals result in transition points. Offensively, she is quick and gets downhill. Janiyah definitely knows how to score on her attacks but she also creates a lot for her teammates with her court vision and ability to attack. She always looks like she is having fun on the court. Boyd attends Monroe High School in Monroe, NC and they will go as far as she carries them.     Jay Jay has good size and length, but her strength is one of her biggest assets. She attacks hard to the rim and uses great footwork to step through the defenders and finish at a high rate. She can dominate on the glass at her position because she is so strong. Green also is able to step out and shot the ball well from the perimeter which displays her finesse. She does an excellent job of mixing up her abilities to score. She will     Smooth as they come with her footwork and post moves. I saw her use a variety of moves such as step throughs, spin moves and fade aways. She has everything in her repertoire to be highly successful at the next level. If you add her skill set with her length and athleticism you have a prime-time player. Harleigh will be exciting to watch for the next few years.     Impressed with the play of Emily at the showcase. She proved that she can score the basketball in different ways. Varig has deep range from beyond the arc. She also showed that she can make moves off the bounce by being crafty in transition and creating for others. She will be someone to keep your eye on as she is only a 2029.       Autumn was granted MVP of the 2029 class at the showcase. If you watched her play you would definitely know why she was named Most Valuable Player. Her skill set is unmatched for a 2029 prospect. She was making moves that you see in the WNBA. This kid is special!! She can use either hand to score around the rim, pass or dribble. That combined with her length and athleticism on the defensive end is prime time. She also plays in a very successful high school program under a coach that will keep making her better.       This young lady took charge today and ran the show for her team at the point guard position. She made great decisions and played tenacious defense. All of this wrapped up in one garnered her the MVP title for the 2028 class at the showcase. Don't let her size fool you. She is a next level player and already has an offer on the table. She is a three-level scorer that has smoothness to her game. She makes difficult plays look easy, when the reality is, the degree of difficulty is high. Her speed and athleticism is unmatched. In my opinion her strongest attribute at this particular point in her career is her mid-range game. She can stop on dime and elevate over the defense with a knock down pull up jumper or she can slice and dice through traffic with shifty footwork. Pay attention to this name. You will be seeing it a lot in the near future.       When you see this kid walk by there is no way you are believing she is a 2030. Her body already looks like a P4 talent. She steps on the court and has an automatic dominating prescence. Tiffany is able to be a rim protector because of her length and timing of her jumps to block shots. She is athletic enough to grab offensive or defensive rebounds. She has nice hands and can finish around the rim. The future for her is shining bright and the fact that her mother is a collegiate coach will probably mean she will keep working and developing.
