Although Wilmore had a very limited role with the Lancers this season you can see her skill and IQ are above many in her class. She is very good defensively, has great footwork and can move very quickly laterally making it difficult for opposing guards to advance. She handles the ball well through pressure and makes great reads. Plays every possession with passion and hustles. During her freshman season with the very talented Lancers team Wilmore showed she has great potential and will definitely make a case as one of the top if not the top guard in Southern Arizona in her class.

Wilmore was the only freshman selected to the girls top 20 game. Shes a tough two way guard who will see her name rise the rankings really soon. A sniper off the catch and a skilled dribbler that can make a move into a midrange or get to the basket for a layup. She guarded many top players at this event and was impressive defensively considering she was the youngest participant. The future of the Lancers program looked really good at this event.

Peyton Wilmore Peyton Wilmore 5'5" | CG/PG Salpointe Catholic | 2029 AZ will be another valuable asset to the Salpointe program that will add depth and young talent to a loaded roster. I believe she will see some Varsity minutes this season and will be able to make an impact. She is a very good shooter from all 3 levels. She can play both guard positions and small forward if needed, and she can defend those positions as well. She has been putting a lot of time into her game the last few years and it has paid off. She will be one of the top freshman in Southern Arizona this season in my opinion and be another player that has the potential to play on the next level.
