The Expo Mo/KS Showcase Team 1 Standouts

Missouri and Kansas' best were split into 8 teams for Prep Hoops Girls 3v3 scrimmages. Then they were parsed into 4 teams of 5v5 scrimmages for the showcase. Best overall performance for Team 1. Taylor is an Elite Communicator and a leader on the floor. She can finish with either hand at the rim and knows how to use the glass. She knows when to shoot and when to pass. She takes the right shots no matter the area of the floor, but she is deadly in the mid-range and around the basket. She has good touch for her 3 to 6-foot shots at the rim and doesn't rush her shot at all. She gets an extremely high elevation on her jump shot while still having perfect form, which, at her size, makes her shot unblockable for other wing defenders. She also displayed in this showcase the lost art of knowing how to feed the post once the defense pressures you and denies the over-the-top pass, and her entire right-hand options to feed the post. She responded by making a gorgeous left-hand loop bounce pass to the post player, who had her defender in a perfect seal underneath the rim.
