The Expo: Team 2 Overview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Sunday, players from around the state of Florida descended upon Seminole Sports Academy for 4 hours to showcase their talent against their peers in the 2026/2027 classes. It's an exciting event to see the upperclassmen compete against their own combined classes to see where they truly stand at the state level. We had college coaches giving them direct instruction and feedback to make the experience even more beneficial to the players involved. She controlled the offensive pace for her team and had smooth handles with an excellent behind the back dribble to change direction. The lefty hustled on every possession and had a couple nice chase down blocks from behind. She finished with power around the basket and had a high release on her shot. I was impressed with her use of the glass on her shot and her ability to rip down boards. She also had one of the toughest buckets of the day with a ten-footer from the corner in traffic with contact. It's great seeing her play more physical and get stronger every time I see her compete. She has some nice length on her frame and used it to run the floor well. She was also able to use strong footwork when closing out on defense. I liked her touch on the short jumper and how willing she was to run the floor. Her ability to elevate for rebounds and on shots made her a difficult matchup. She got good looks with her IQ to back cut when her defender was overplaying her. Defensively, she was able to get a hand up on opposing team shooters even if it meant scrambling because of a teammates missed assignment. On offense, she could hit the 3 ball and find her open teammates with her court awareness. I liked seeing her fight and go after rebounds on both ends when it wasn't her play to get back on defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
