Elle had a very good event for Team Genesis 17U team, especially after losing Bianca Hall Bianca Hall 5'7" | PG/CG State FL to injury who recently picked up a division one offer Morehead State and is the reigning FACA 2A District II Player of the Year. Elle recently picked ur her own division one offer from Rider after playing very well in Ohio. Deegan had already put up impressive scoring numbers before Hall hurt her left hand/wrist and was unavailable their last games. She continued to score at a high clip afterwards, both inside and out, with confidence, intelligence, and looked smooth doing it. Deegan knocked down shots from behind the three point line as well as a few feet inside the stripe and got to the rim and scored consistently. Deegan is a strong kid and used her power to get through contact at the basket. She shot the ball well from the free throw line showing good form. Deegan looked cool and confident when she handled the ball and did a good job keeping her head up and advancing the ball to open teammates when the opportunity presented itself. She partnered very well with Jaslyn Easley Jaslyn Easley 5'7" | SG State FL as well as the two exchanged multiple cross court passes and assisted on several of the other’s baskets.

The left-handed sniper can shoot it with the best of them. Deegan has a beautiful shooting motion, soft touch, and a very quick release that makes her one of the smoothest left-handed jumpers around. She is highly accurate from deep, connecting at nearly a 40% clip, which speaks to both her consistency and skill level. Beyond the shooting, Deegan can handle the ball, move it within the flow of the offense, and score in multiple ways. She is a polished, high-level player whose perimeter shooting immediately stands out

Elle was the X-factor in Bishop Kenny’s 4A state championship run, providing timely scoring, toughness, and steady leadership. In the semifinal win over American Heritage, she helped establish the lead with two key 3-pointers, shooting 37.5% from beyond the arc over the course of the tournament. She carried that momentum into the title game, controlling the glass with a team-high seven rebounds and showing remarkable poise by going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. Her intensity on both ends of the floor and consistent scoring across both games made her an indispensable part of the Crusaders’ championship success.
