These young ladies are a solid group of ballplayers who are very talented in their own right. There is a wide array of different styles amongst this group; however, the main thing is the main thing, and that is these girls know how to compete at a high level and put the ball in the hole.   All up and down the rankings, you see girls who get the job done. I have already mentioned how they compete at a high level, but these girls are difference-makers who give their club an edge. Some may not always get in the paper as a high scorer. However, you better believe these girls are some tough kids who contribute at every phase of the game.   Here are some Mid-State kids whose stocks are rising.    No girl has a monster of a summer like this young lady. Her confidence has grown, and she is playing at a high level. She is a kid who can score on all three levels, but it's her defense that sets her apart from most. She causes havoc, period. Her length is a problem as she gets a ton of steals and deflections. Look for her to be a solid option for the Lady Patriots and a focal point as teams try to slow this ball club down.     A girl whose game is coming alive. She is a kid who plays with a lot of confidence and is no stranger to the bottom of the net. She is a marksman from the arc, knocking down 3s at a high clip. She can put it on the floor and finish as well, but given a sliver of daylight, she is going to knock it down from 3. Look for her to be a leading catalyst for this Watertown ball club and etch her name in the record books before it's all said and done.     A kid who is a tough mismatch every time she steps onto the floor. She can pound you down low, knock down the mid-range, or shoot it from the arc with ease. She plays solid D, grabs boards, and brings a physical presence to the game. She had a solid summer where schools took notice of her style of play. Keep an eye on this young lady as she continues to grow.     A dual sport athlete who is a heady ballplayer. She sees the floor well, picks her spots to exploit, runs an efficient offense, and is a tough defender on the defensive end. This kid plays with relentless energy and is a tough outing nightly. Athletic guard who can attack downhill or knock it down from the arc. She has been a nice addition ever since she stepped onto the floor for this Lady Lions ball club. Look for her to continue on this trajectory and help lead PCA deep into the tournament.     High-energy kid who brings the physicality to the table. She can do work on the interior, scoring buckets around the painted area. However, her game has grown, and she provides an outside presence, knocking down the 3-ball efficiently. She's big time on the boards, a solid defender, someone who makes it difficult for opponents to operate. This kid is all about toughness, and she lets her be known every time she steps onto the floor. Keep an eye on this kid as she is about to have a breakthrough season.     A kid whose game is rising to new heights. She is a tough competitor who can elevate like no other. She can finish around the rim and knock down the 3-ball, but her game is mid-range as she plays high in the air over opponents. She is an athletic guard who creates problems for teams. A high-energy kid who has both speed and power in her game. Contributes in all phases; she is the difference-maker, and one opponent must stop as they try to defeat her ballclub. A tough ball player who is on an upward trajectory.
