Confident ballplayer who shines when the lights come on. This kid has range to her game, but can also get to the basketball. One attribute I love about her is her ability to use her length to cause turnovers. Multiple times, she got deflections and steals as teams underestimated her ability to get her hands on the ball. When that occurred, it was easy points as she laid it in countless times. She’s a heckuva ballplayer and one who is gaining attention from college coaches.

Sophomore guard Jordyn Porter Jordyn Porter 5'7" | SG/PG State TN had a great shooting performance in her lone game at the state tournament.

Porter had three makes from distance, going 3-5 in the first round game against Cookeville High School. Her jumpshot has good rhythm, and she is more than comfortable from shooting all across the three-point line.

Porter also sees the game well. This leads her to being able to have high-assist games. It also helps her create turnovers on defense by getting steals. Against Cookeville, she had two steals, and in a contest against Independence High School during the season, she had six assists.

This kid is ready to have a breakthrough run. A solid two-way player, she can knock shots down at a high clip from the arc, make timely assists, and use her length on the defensive end to get steals and deflections. Page is ready to take the next step towards reaching their goal of making it to the state. You better believe this young lady is going to do her part and then some to make sure they have a crack at obtaining the crown. She’s a coachable kid who is the ultimate team player.

Jordyn Porter Jordyn Porter 5'7" | SG/PG State TN is having a great shooting season and an overall good offensive season for Page High School.

Porter has 40 made threes and is shooting 42% from distance. She is also averaging 10.3 points per game, nearly doubling what she averaged in her freshman season.

Porter, outside of her success from the three-point line, is a good playmaker and a good transition scorer. Her transition scoring skills were on display in a game against Knoxville Catholic High School this season. In the contest, she had four made buckets on fastbreaks.

Has been playing with a lot of confidence and taking her game to the next level. From knocking down 3s from the arc, finishing at the rim, and feeding the hot hand on O, she has been a difference maker for the Lady Patriots ballclub. She brings athleticism, toughness, and infectious energy, qualities that have become a staple of her game. She competes on both ends of the floor, especially on defense, where her wingspan creates havoc. Stay tuned to this young prospect as she is just getting started.

 No girl has a monster of a summer like this young lady. Her confidence has grown, and she is playing at a high level. She is a kid who can score on all three levels, but it’s her defense that sets her apart from most. She causes havoc, period. Her length is a problem as she gets a ton of steals and deflections. Look for her to be a solid option for the Lady Patriots and a focal point as teams try to slow this ball club down.

Athletic kid who plays with a ton of energy. She has an amazing wingspan that enables her to get her hands on the ball, especially on the defensive end. Deflections, blocks, steals, her forte is causing turnovers. Offensively, she has a nice jumper that she puts on display both beyond the arc and inside the perimeter. She can finish at the rim against contact, creating and 1 situations. This kid is solid and is going to be a big-time contributor to the Lady Patriots program.

Talk about a kid who is hot, this young lady is about to take the league by storm. A solid two-way player who can knock the 3 ball down efficiently or put it on the floor and finish at the rim. Her length poses as a threat as she gets steals and deflections like crazy. She had an awesome summer where she helped catapult both her travel ball team and became a big-time contributor for her school ball team. Look for her to carry this momentum along with her confidence into the school season and become an important piece of the Lady Patriots’ attack. This kid has been playing out of her mind this past July. For starters, JoPo has amazing length that enables her to get steals and deflections by the boatload. She is a disrupter on the defensive end, creating turnover chances for her team to go the other way and get transitional buckets. Offensively, she can shoot it from the arc at a high clip, but won’t hesitate to put the ball on the floor to go get a bucket at the rim. She will be a tremendous asset for the Lady Patriots this upcoming fall and will rack up even more collegiate looks as her career advances. Solid kid with lots of potential.

This kid was playing her tail off on both ends of the floor. Talk about a disruptor, her length posed as a threat as she got steals and tip balls that lead to easy transition buckets. She played with a lot of hustle and heart and caused a lot of chaos on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, she finished at the rim going up strong and nail 3s from a far. This kid is special and her stock is about to take off.
