5 Rising Stocks in Class of 2030

I attended the [program_tooltip program_id='714624' first='Hoop' last='Mountain'] Future Stars Showcase a few weeks ago, an event that brought together many of the top young players in New England from the classes of 2028–2031. Below are five standout performers from the class of 2030 who impressed me throughout the event.    Jaelyn is a skilled shooter who creates space off the dribble, knocking down step-back threes with confidence. She also shoots well off the catch and is strong with the ball, finishing through contact with either hand. Her hustle on the offensive glass provides extra scoring opportunities.     Jocelyn is a strong defender who collects steals that lead to transition opportunities. She finishes through contact with either hand and moves well without the ball, setting screens and cutting to open space. She closes out effectively onto the ball, preventing opponents from getting clean looks.     Lexie brings the ball up the court confidently and can score from deep or finish at the rim. She takes smart shots and passes well to set up teammates when they're open. As a shooter, she is dangerous from behind the arc and has a deep bag of moves to create space.     Tall and physical, Lena dominates the boards and is difficult to contain without aggressively boxing her out. She handles the ball well for her size and is comfortable putting it on the floor. Defensively, she uses her reach to challenge shots and force opponents into difficult attempts.     Sabrina is an excellent catch-and-shoot threat from three and consistently knocks down shots from her favorite spots. She moves well without the ball to get open and makes quick decisions as soon as she receives a pass.
