Amalia Fruchtman has quietly become one of the most competitive players in Delaware high school basketball. The Cape Henlopen standout combines strength and finesse, consistently finding ways to score inside and out. She's a tough matchup in the paint, using her size and touch to finish through contact while also showing confidence from mid range. Beyond scoring, Fruchtman impacts the game with her rebounding, vision, and defensive presence. Her basketball IQ allows her to read plays early and make the right plays under pressure. I would expect her to be on a lot of coaches radars this season.

Ha'Lena Griffin has emerged as a force on the boards and in the pain for Howard High School in Wilmington. The sophomore forward is averaging 11.2 rebounds per game, placing her among the top rebounders in Delaware. She pairs that work on the glass with scoring and defensive stats, showing the kind of all-around presence that teams lean on. Her ability to crash the boards and finish second-chance possessions gives Howard an edge in tough matchups. Griffin's consistency will be key as Howard looks to make deeper playoff runs. With ore exposure and refinement, she has the upside to attract college-level interest down the line.

Sierra Henry is a tough all-around guard who continues to impress for Polytech. The 5'6 playmaker brings energy on both ends of the floor, using her quickness to pressure ball handlers and create turnovers. She's averaging around 14 points per game, while also filling the stat sheet with rebounds, assists, and steals. Henry's ability to control the tempo and get her teammates involved makes her a true leader. Defensively she's relentless, constantly in passing lanes and forcing mistakes that turn into easy transition points. Her leadership and composure set the tone for a young Polytech team that feeds off of her competitiveness. Henry is definitely a name to know in Delaware's 2026 class.

Emma Harding is an emerging guard for the Blue Hawks who consistently fills the stat sheet and shows a strong all-around basketball IQ. In her most recent game Emma had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals; showing she can impact the game in multiple ways. Her ability to grab rebounds and generate steals from the perimeter makes her a disruptive defender and a transition threat. She display's poise and confidence in her decision making and seems ready to take on more of a leadership role over the next few seasons. As she continues to develop her perimeter shooting and handle, her versatility will make her a valuable piece for the Blue Hawks moving forward. Keep an eye on her progression, she has the tools to become a standout guard in her division.

[player_tooltip player_id='492839' first='Gabby' last='Johnson'] is a tenacious 5'3 guard for Fairwinds Christian who makes her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She's averaging just over 10 points per game while also contributing nearly six rebounds and close to 2 steals per game. Johnson's quickness and anticipation allow her to create turnovers and generate fast-break opportunities for her team. Despite her size, she plays bigger, showing toughness on the boards and a willingness to attack at the basket. She also protects the rim well for a guard, averaging nearly three blocks per game. Johnson's energy and effort set the tone for her teammates, making her a catalyst on both offense and defense.
