Middle Tennessee Kids Ready For Breakout Year

Tip-off week for the 25-26 regular season in Tennessee is finally here. The wait is over, and our young ladies are back in action, ready to hoop it up once again. Everyone is starting with a clean slate, 0-0; however, there are plenty of storylines to go around from multiple districts across the state. We will get into them later, but you better believe this season will be filled with a lot of ball clubs looking to etch their names in the record books.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As I mentioned earlier, it's basketball time in Tennessee. I know one thing for sure: a lot of girls will be coming into this season with a chip on their shoulder. For various reasons, of course, just know this one will be a good one and one that will keep everyone on their toes until we crown the champions at the state tournament.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I wanted to highlight some young ladies in Middle Tennessee who have something to prove. They have a chip on their shoulder and are ready to show everyone they mean business. A downhill threat from multiple spots on the court, she is going to be the aggressor and put the ball in the hole by any means necessary. A defensive threat, look for her to get steals, tips, deflections, and gain extra possessions for her team. From rebounding and blocking shots to creating offensive scoring chances, this kid is tough on both ends of the floor. She will be a force on the boards, and her length alone will make it hard for opponents to score. A heady floor general who will be commanding the Lady Lions' attack as they look to return to the state. This kid plays with speed, and that alone creates havoc on both ends of the floor. She has a nice jumper in her arsenal; however, her ability to get to the rack is second to none.
