Head Coach Kevin Cornell is no stranger to the game, as he comes into his 8th season with a career record of 106-57. In talking with Coach Cornell, his team is learning to develop a competitive spirit each day, they do lack varsity experience — about 70% of our roster are underclassmen — but the coaching staff is excited to see the growth throughout the season! It's a competitive group that wants to win. They hope to use their depth and versatility — with the size and athleticism they have to their advantage.

Three returning letter winners: Katelyn Mamula (5'9, senior forward), Lily Zimmerman(5'6, junior guard), and [player_tooltip player_id='974085' first='Aubrie' last='Wells'] (5'9, sophomore guard) — who earned Special Mention All-Ohio honors as a freshman averaging 10 ppg. Aubrie had a strong AAU season playing for Xtreme 2028, as well as being a leader for our team. We expect her to be a top performer in the OCC and district. ([player_tooltip player_id='974085' first='Aubrie' last='Wells'], Featured Photo)

Promising Newcomers
Keira Mason (5'8, junior forward) missed last two years with ACL injuries.

Scottlynd Martin (5'11, junior forward), Stella Halter (5'11, sophomore forward), Makenna Miller (5'10, sophomore forward)
All provide size and length for us.

Jillian Hanes (5'4, sophomore guard), Marissa Roth (5'4, sophomore guard)
Two quick guards that will provide energy and change of pace.

Khloe Sours (6'0, freshman guard) – Competing to be a Day 1 starter provides great size for a guard with handles and outside shooting ability.

Abbey Sweitzer (6'0, freshman forward) – Great Size, athleticism, and touch around the basket.

Grace Carlisle, Ella Randolph, Lexi Rager (5'4 freshman guards) – All three will provide guard depth that are skilled and learning the speed of HS basketball.

Final Thoughts From Coach!
The energy they bring each day and their willingness to take coaching has been awesome! If we truly learn the value of being great teammates and playing for each other I believe we will be a tough out Tournament time with tons of upside the next couple years!
