PD Scrimmage: Grace Christian (Sanford) is the Real Deal

There were 28 teams participating from North Carolina and surrounding regions. There was also over fifty college coaches in attendance. Cooper plays with a ton of energy, poise and composure. She is vocal and shows leadership qualities. She has elite court vision mixed with a High IQ. Cox can create her own shot and is very good slashing through the defenders. Defensively, she plays at a very high level and has active hands. Her strong physique makes her extremely tough to battle with in the paint. She has nice footwork which allows her to pin her defenders and makes it very difficult to get around. Her nose for the ball going to the glass is another area that makes her special. KJ also has good hi post moves off the dribble attacking the rim and ability to step out and shoot threes. Her strength, versatility and size has college coaches taking notice. She is a good defender with nice length on the perimeter. She gets her hands on a lot of balls. Olivia is solid in the open court and making plays out of transition. Lola has a high motor and is extremely competitive on both ends of the court. Defensively, she is aggressive and athletics enough to get up on the ball handlers to make them uncomfortable. She is an unselfish player that does a great job of moving the ball and getting her teammates involved. She can help carry the scoring load when necessary. She uses her length well and alters a lot of shots on the defensive end. Her versatility allows her to play the 4 or 5 position. She runs the floor well rim to rim. She is also very strong rebounding the ball.
