Cooper Cox Cooper Cox 5'9" | PG Grace Christian-Sanford | 2029 State NC started off the scoring with a nice hesitation move then got to the basket banking it off the glass.  She did well knocking the ball away from her opponents as they tried to get by her.  Her ball fakes running full speed are top notch and very difficult to defend, especially after she comes up with a steal scoring on the other end off the turnover.

Cox proved once again she is one of the best guards in the state of North Carolina regardless of class. She has a lot of skill and plays with a lot of swagger for a kid her age. Cox plays the game with no fear of failure and a high level of confidence which often leads to her making plays that leave people shaking their heads. Cox uses ball handling combinations in games, against highly ranked players and teams without a second thought. She is an outstanding shooter off the bounce and in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, Cox creates a lot of turnovers jumping in the passing lanes and taking the ball from players she is guarding. She is a player with a very high ceiling who has ACC/SEC type potential.

A true floor general that can make everyone around her better. Cooper plays with a ton of energy, poise and composure. She is vocal and shows leadership qualities. She has elite court vision mixed with a High IQ. Cox can create her own shot and is very good slashing through the defenders. Defensively, she plays at a very high level and has active hands. Cooper Cox Cooper Cox 5'9" | PG Grace Christian-Sanford | 2029 State NC has joined the class of 2029 which selfishly means we get an extra year of watching her high school career, and we are here for it.  She’s another excellent shooter from deep being able to really show off some range shooting the ball, and she uses her quickness and shifty ball handling moves to score at the rim blowing by her defenders.  She’s alert on defense showing off her IQ anticipating what her opponents are going to try to do.

Cooper is an elite talent and always fun to watch. She is incredibly skilled and takes full command on offense with exceptional ball handling and passing ability. She can make shots from all over the court and plays strong on ball defense.

Good high level talent that is a fluent ball handler. A point guard that is equally dangerous at the shooting guard position!

Cooper Cox Cooper Cox 5'9" | PG Grace Christian-Sanford | 2029 State NC maintains the same composure no matter what is going on in the game.  She handles the ball well bringing it up the court always keeping her eyes peeled for the next best play.  Her ability to handle the ball calmly under pressure is definitely an asset and shows a lot of leadership even at a young age.  That calmness is evident whenever she shows off her shot from deep, too.

Pace of game was elite. When Cox was letting the game come to her she was at her best. She has an elite midrange game that complements her outside shooting and tough handle. Cox had a very tough shot when time was winding down and helped her 16U team pick up a huge win on a runner.

Cooper Cox Cooper Cox 5'9" | PG Grace Christian-Sanford | 2029 State NC was a big part of Wesleyan Christian making it to the state championship game this past season.  She is a sharp shooter from deep being able to pull up quickly and let it go before her defenders can close out on her shot.  She handles the ball well finding the gaps to attack, and she can make quick passes inside after drawing defenders towards her.  She’s strong at the rim being able to finish on both sides no matter what hands are in her face.
