PGH NJ Expo Scouting Evaluations

Excels playing off screens and going downhill. Has a nice mid-range jumper and is shifty enough to get to the basket. Duque is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor, boxes out, and gets the outlet pass out quickly. Defensively, she has good length and can guard multiple positions. Has comfort with her pull-up jumper from the perimeter and mid-range. Excellent point guard that protects the ball and makes smart reads in half-court sets. In transition, she knows when to score and when to dish it off and can play on or off the ball. Fluid shooting mechanics, quick release, and plenty of range from beyond the arc and in the mid-range. Has the skill to beat you in a multitude of ways and get a clean look. She can play off-ball or as the PG and run the offense to perfection. Can drive through contact and penetrate the paint to finish or kick out to one of her teammates in the corners. Loves to play through contact and be physical, and create turnovers that turn into fast break points. Her game revolves around creating space to get her stepback jumper off with enough space, dicing through defenders. attacking the paint and being able to get her own shot off when she needs it. Can finish with either hand and fights through contact to the net. Physical guard who makes the right reads and plays to the whistle. Likes to play down in the paint facing the basket. Defensively, she has lockdown perimeter defender capabilities, which can hinder opponents and make shots difficult.
