[player_tooltip player_id='514521' first='Brie' last='McCoy'] delivered one of the most dominant performances in the front-court. She established herself early with a powerful interior presence, sealing deep in the paint and finishing through contact with strength. What separated her this week was her power on the inside and a soft shooting touch on the outside- knocking down perimeter looks and showing she can score from beyond the arc. When McCoy caught the ball on the block and went to her left hand, she was virtually unstoppable. Defensively, she contested shots, and controlled the boards with physicality and effort. Her ability to impact the game on both ends made her a match-up problem all night and a clear focal point for her team's success. McCoy played with power, physicality, and toughness - and she used all three to "pay it forward" to her teammates.
