showed up and let Creekside to a Victory in Round 1 of the FHSAA playoffs. McCoy is a beast on the blocks and especially when she gets the ball to her dominant hand on the left. With the losing team going home, McCoy was not ready to end her high school career. The Senior power forward pulled down 10 boards and also scored 17 points.

continued her strong play against Tocoi Creek. The power forward showcased strength, touch, and footwork that made her a consistent scoring option inside. McCoy established deep position throughout the game and went to work with her trademark left-handed power move—finishing through contact and controlling the paint. Her growth showed when she faked with the left and reverse pivoted to the right hand, keeping the defense honest and demonstrating an expanding toolbox. Her activity on the offensive and defensive glass created transition baskets and second chance scoring opportunities. McCoy’s combination of post presence, improved left and right hand finishes, make her a match-up challenge and one of the most productive power forwards on the First Coast. It also makes her one of the most talented and intriguing unsigned seniors prospects in the area.

was consistent and impactive on both ends of the court. McCoy’s offensive game starts on the blocks and if she gets to her spot, she is usually scoring a bucket or drawing a foul and getting to the line. McCoy has shown versatility this season and has the ability to step out and shoot the occasional three pointer. She has demonstrated a play making ability with her passes out of the post to perimeter scorers. McCoy also rebounds on both ends of the floor, giving her team extra possessions and securing stops on defense. At the Inside Exposure tournament, McCoy had the skills on display and continued top solidify herself as one of the top power forwards in the 2026 class.

delivered one of the most dominant performances in the front-court. She established herself early with a powerful interior presence, sealing deep in the paint and finishing through contact with strength. What separated her this week was her power on the inside and a soft shooting touch on the outside- knocking down perimeter looks and showing she can score from beyond the arc. When McCoy caught the ball on the block and went to her left hand, she was virtually unstoppable. Defensively, she contested shots, and controlled the boards with physicality and effort. Her ability to impact the game on both ends made her a match-up problem all night and a clear focal point for her team’s success. McCoy played with power, physicality, and toughness – and she used all three to “pay it forward” to her teammates.

was a dominant force on the court and that might be stating in lightly. McCoy brought the physicality and the smoke to Georgia and players from the Peach State were introduced to one of the must physical power forwards on the First Coast. McCoy rebounded well, fought for position, mixed it up with some of Georgia’s top forwards, and left a lasting impression on coaches, players, and the tournament. McCoy showed some nice footwork and execution down on the blocks, and some versatility on the outside -stretching the defense with several long three pointer attempts.

played well at the Camp and really was one of the most physical players in the building. McCoy was strong with the ball and rebounded. On the offensive end she was hard to stop down on the blocks. When she gets it in her left hand at the right angle, it’s a bucket! McCoy overpowered. some of the smaller forwards and showed that she is a force like the Osprey protecting the nest.

was a force last season and averaged nearly a double-double for the season. She was consistent on the blocks and at times unstoppable. She expanded her offensive game some last season, showing flashes behind the arc and taking it to the rim. McCoy is looking to continue to diversify her attack from multiple areas on the floor. She’s got tools — a strong build, a good motor, and a passion for the game.

showed great progress from her Sophomore to her Junior season and it was noticeable. Her mid-range game was vastly improved, and she attacked the paint with more purpose. Her three point shooting improved to the point that she can stretch the defense and open up driving lanes for herself and teammates. McCoy is learning to make in-game adjustments and use any of her tools at any given time – reacting to how the defense is defending her. She was in the double – double neighborhood all of last season and had several games where she approached 20 rebounds. McCoy’s game has continued to develop over the summer and her senior year could be one that solidifies her as a major player at the 4 position.

is relentless on the floor and simply outwills her opponents, breaking them down over the course of the game. Her strength and physicality are unmatched—and when combined with her footwork and graceful playing style, she becomes a serious problem. She’s deadly with her left hand, consistently getting to her spots and finishing through contact, making it clear she’s not letting up. Brie is one of the most polished players on both the offensive and defensive ends and already plays with the physicality required at the next level.

has been the “real McCoy” this basketball season, and a huge stock riser in the 2026 class. McCoy has continued to add versatility to her game, and with growth in her game comes a rise up the rankings. McCoy has always played on the blocks and just shot a powerful 5 footer off the glass with physical contact from the opponent. This season, McCoy has expanded the offensive game that now extends out to the three point line. McCoy has improved the jump shot to the point where she is efficient and solid in the midrange area. McCoy has even shown the ability to shoot from behind the arc in occasion. McCoy is averaging a double double and has taken her rebounding efforts to a new level. Any rebound that comes near her belongs to her. As McCoy’s teammates put it, the power forward has been “uncontainable” this season.
