In a match up vs Mansfield she was a part of the defensive monster that terrorized the guards causing numerous turnovers and scoring opportunities for her team mates. Her aggressive nature fits well into Captain Shreve and their style of play. She is a feisty guard with a downhill scoring mentality and in the open court she will score, or you will have to foul her to keep her from getting to the rim. More to follow on this developing impact player.

Davis is growing her name on the basketball scene around the state, but local enthusiasts are familiar with her game. Davis has a game that works in any gym because she does several things really well. On the ball, she can lead a team and handle ball pressure. Off the ball, Davis can be trusted to score in more ways than one. She is a top talent that will only continue to grow in the game. Bet on Davis. She is a name to know with a game to watch.

Wesley is an intimidator on the court, and in a match up vs Huntington her talents were on full display. Watching a player hustle for an entire game makes days in the gym fun. Wesley does not cheat the game and works on or off the ball. She matches energy in tense situations and shows the balance of aggression and style. She made a behind the back pass on her way to the rim that showed she is not only aggressive, but she is also skilled. Winning requires team work and she is the ultimate team player.

Robinson led Neville in scoring against Wossman, but her scoring is not what makes her a player to watch. She was relentless and fearless on both sides of the ball. The transition from middle school to high school often comes with adjusting to the physical aspect of the game. Robinson has skipped the transition and embraces the tough part of the game. She was a monster on defense and fearless in her efforts to get to the rim. Neville is playing with a big chip on their shoulders and Robinson is going to be a serious basketball problem for opponents.

Ruston is in a season of resurgence and one of the reasons is Point Guard, [player_tooltip player_id='916997' first='Jayleen' last='Spann']. Spann erupted for 21 points in her first game of the season. Spann is equally effective on or off the ball making her tough to control when she is on the floor. She is a physical guard that really works best after she gets bumped. That is when the hooper comes out and then it is time to sit back and enjoy the show. She can play inside or out and uses her strong frame to bully her way to the goal for and one opportunities, but it all starts at the three point line. Spann is a shooter. She is only scratching the surface of her potential and will surely cause some problems this upcoming season.
