<p>Now with the season underway and my state championship predictions posted, here I wanted to check out who could be some underdog teams to keep an eye on as the season gets underway.</p>

<p><em><strong>Prosser -</strong></em> Record Last Year: 23-7 - Lost in Semi-finals</p>

<p>Prosser was a solid team last season and had a fantastic overall season. They only lost a few players from last years team and will have [player_tooltip player_id='928852' first='Herbie' last='Wright'] back. Herbie is a dynamic wing who knows how to attack from the wing but also work in the paint smoothly to get buckets. She uses her length on both sides, protecting the paint at a high level too. Diedra Phillips will also be back and ready to make a big impact for the squad. </p>

<p><strong><em>WF West </em></strong>- Record Last Year: 25-4 - Lost in Quarterfinals</p>

<p>WF West is losing just a few players but they did play big roles. [player_tooltip player_id='663643' first='Rhylee' last='Beebe'], a lengthy guard who plays with high energy will be back. She can score from all 3 levels and be productive with or without the ball. She'll score at a high rate and get her teammates involved. [player_tooltip player_id='751208' first='Dilyn' last='Boeck'] is a player who I believe is going to take a huge step this season and show everyone she is a top 2027 player in the state. </p>

<p><strong><em>Black Hills</em></strong> - Record Last Year: 13-9 - Did not make state</p>

<p>Black Hills finished 3rd in their league last year but with all but one player coming back this season, they should be improvement on the court. To start, [player_tooltip player_id='1232869' first='Tyler' last='Venable'] is a top player in the 2A class and very underrated here in the state of Washington. She scores from all 3 levels and knows how to utilize mis-matches that come her way. They are a team to keep an eye on throughout this season. </p>
