Region 11 looks different this season with Logan moving to 3A's Region 12 and the addition of Stansbury, Tooele, and a brand-new school entering the mix. Several programs return impact players, and the overall depth of talent should make this one of the more competitive regions in the state. With so many teams capable of elevating their level of play, region matchups could be tightly contested from start to finish, giving every game extra weight as the season unfolds.

Ridgeline (3-0)

Record: 28-0. 1st in Region 11. 4A State Champions

Ridgeline may have lost its five-star centerpiece, but what remains is a roster of players who spent the past few years learning how to compete at that level—and it shows. [player_tooltip player_id='1166547' first='Brooke' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='796477' first='Abby' last='Munford'] will take over as the primary anchors of this team, bringing leadership, scoring experience, and composure. But what sets Ridgeline apart is its depth. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1235913' first='Sam' last='Brown'] has already stepped confidently into a varsity role, proving she can help carry the load, while players like [player_tooltip player_id='1452447' first='Sophie' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='796498' first='Emy' last='Castleton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1378025' first='Taylee' last='Munford'], [player_tooltip player_id='1327059' first='Sianna' last='Dowdin'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1452444' first='Brynlyn' last='Jackson'] give Ridgeline a deep and balanced rotation. They may look different this year, but they still look like contenders.

Sky View (3-0)

Record: 17-8. 2nd in Region 11.

Sky View is coming off a winning season, but lost a significant group of seniors. [player_tooltip player_id='1092176' first='Mollee' last='Allen'] has stepped into the lead role for the Bobcats and has guided them to an undefeated start. As seniors graduated, several players have stepped up to prove there's no shortage of talent in this region. [player_tooltip player_id='1119388' first='Liv' last='McKay'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1377070' first='Kamryn' last='Walker'] have done exactly that, and both are making an impact beyond expectations. [player_tooltip player_id='1092178' first='Lacy' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1377069' first='Aisha' last='Dean'] are also players who could help fill the gap as the season progresses.

Mountain Crest (3-0)

Record: 16-10. 3rd in Region 11.

Mountain Crest returns much of its core, giving this group continuity and confidence heading into the season. [player_tooltip player_id='796478' first='Bella' last='Carroll'] is once again leading the charge, carrying the scoring load and setting the tone, while sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='997499' first='Emersyn' last='Brown'] has emerged as a major impact player with her energy and versatility. [player_tooltip player_id='1230611' first='Leighton' last='Pratt'] and [player_tooltip player_id='879708' first='Sage' last='Walker'] are poised to fill the stat sheet in the areas that don't always show up in headlines—boards, hustle plays, and defensive contributions. With experience, chemistry, and multiple contributors, Mountain Crest looks ready to challenge Sky View and Ridgeline for a legitimate run at the region title.

Green Canyon (2-0)

Record: 11-14. 4th in Region 11.

Led by their senior leader this year, [player_tooltip player_id='812025' first='Talyssa' last='Nelson'] has a good backup in [player_tooltip player_id='1320636' first='Kloey' last='Tensmeyer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='812026' first='Mya' last='Hinds']. Who will be the fourth and fifth contributor? That has yet to be established, but players like Clair Brown, [player_tooltip player_id='1377066' first='Kate' last='Hansen'], [player_tooltip player_id='1377063' first='Jaylee' last='Blotter'], [player_tooltip player_id='1242988' first='Britten' last='Maw'], and Liza Seedall will all throw in to try to be that person for Green Canyon. With no major contributors lost from last season, this core has another full year to build on its chemistry and elevate its overall impact.

Bear River

Record: 5-18. 5th in Region 11.

Bear River has already shown they're a different team than last season, and there's a lot to like about the Bears this time around. Last year's leader, [player_tooltip player_id='1240267' first='Samantha' last='Theurer'], made noise as a freshman by filling the stat sheet, alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1452490' first='Robbi' last='Marble']. This season, they're far from a two-player show. A deeper lineup is emerging, and multiple contributors have already proven they're ready to elevate this team's identity. With a tough region ahead, the preseason will be critical for sharpening their chemistry and tightening execution. In addition to Sam and Robbi, look for key roles from rising contributors like [player_tooltip player_id='1307933' first='Ava' last='Driggs'], [player_tooltip player_id='1452486' first='Olivia' last='Fry'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1293054' first='Maylee' last='Higley']—players who are helping Bear River prove they're ready to compete rather than rebuild.

Record: 9-14. 5th in Region 10.

[player_tooltip player_id='1452617' first='Emery' last='Lufkin'], [player_tooltip player_id='1452620' first='Kate' last='Lambert'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1455335' first='Makell' last='Proctor'] will be tasked with filling the void left by Stansbury's heavy graduation losses, and so far, they've shared that responsibility evenly. With so many new roles being established, stepping into a tougher region with limited returning experience will make their path even steeper. Still, it also creates space for new leaders to emerge. Other players to watch could be Kaylia Loertscher, [player_tooltip player_id='1455333' first='Dylan' last='Christensen'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1455332' first='Tabitha' last='Park'].

Tooele

Record: 16-8. 3rd in Region 10.

Tooele returns a strong core of contributors, centered around [player_tooltip player_id='825056' first='Kennedy' last='Searle']. [player_tooltip player_id='812031' first='Halle' last='Hogan'], [player_tooltip player_id='1455341' first='Macie' last='Gustin'], [player_tooltip player_id='1455342' first='Lindsey' last='Zaleski'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1092163' first='Camila' last='Lora'] will be back to help keep Kennedy supplied in the paint, but if teams find a way to slow her down, the supporting cast will need to shoulder more of the scoring load. This team could be one of the biggest disruptors in the region if opponents can't figure out how to contain Kennedy.

Deseret Peak

This is a new program in the region and classification, which makes it difficult to predict what they'll bring to the floor. What we do know is they have no seniors on the roster, making this likely a building year—not just for establishing their presence in the region, but also for finding leadership and developing chemistry. They've had a rough start, but the young core shows promise. Players like [player_tooltip player_id='1455322' first='Taylor' last='Fawson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1455326' first='Amney' last='Osborn'], [player_tooltip player_id='1455330' first='Niamiah' last='Jones'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1455323' first='Vaoahi' last='Fonua'] are the ones to watch, both for their potential impact this season and as long-term pieces to build around.
