The versatility of a lot of bigs and wings from the Lady Panther holiday classic may have been my favorite thing I've seen. Here are some additional standouts that I haven't been able to mention yet from a fun two days of action.

The trajectory of the Manchester and Georgetown Visitation game on day 1 changed as soon as [player_tooltip player_id='443620' first='Madison' last='Smith'] started to get more involved on offense. They put Madi in the middle of Georgetown's zone, and she did great work there. Madi has a great post game, and she made a handful of strong moves down there, overpowering smaller defenders. Madi is a fluid athlete, and you see that when she puts the ball on the floor in transition. She had a play in transition where she took the ball and just flat outran multiple Georgetown guards. Madi is also a highly impactful defender. She used her length and athleticism to disrupt players at the rim and in passing lanes. She even had a block on a three where it felt like she came out of nowhere. Madi picked up a couple of bad fouls, but besides that, it was an amazing outing for the Junior.

Demi Gilliam was legit unstoppable going to her left against Archbishop Spalding. Her size and ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim gave them trouble all game. It felt like she got to whatever she wanted to, and it's how she hit the go-ahead bucket late in a PVI win.

Arianna Harris-Mott is impactful on both sides every time I watch her. Arianna had a handful of blocks or shot-altering contests at the rim. She had a few tough finishes, and she dominated the glass. Arianna had trouble at times staying in front of Madi Smith when Madi decided to drive, but I felt like she gave it back to her to some degree on the other end, posting up. She uses her size well and was pretty easily Pallotti's best player on the day.

Brooklyn Kavanaugh's size and physicality gave Lightridge a lot of trouble. She was highly impactful on the glass, and when she wasn't in the game, Lightridge really took advantage of that on the boards. Brooklyn uses her size effectively and did great work on put backs and in the post. Brooklyn got to the line a lot, and Lightridge really had no answer for her.

Ella Grace Saunders had a nice day for Steward. She has great size for a two guard, and I think that helps Steward's ability to consistently play 4 guards. Ella is a knockdown shooter with good range and a solid driver. She is a consistent, reliable piece for Steward and did well as a secondary ball handler.

Manchester's guards did a terrific job attacking the rim against Pallotti. Keileen Edwards had a handful of strong drives finishing through contact. She competed on defense and was really scrappy on that end. Keileen is a good shooter, a solid passer, and a big piece for what this well-balanced Manchester team does.
