Middle School Game Notes: Snowden at Elmore Park

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most anticipated middle school girls game in Memphis. 901 Tournament of Champions tipped off with undefeated Snowden visiting Elmore Park. Elmore Park recently got their first loss of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Elmore Park had the home court advantage. Unfortunately, their Starting Athletic Point Guard, Maleah Porter, was not available to play.  Snowden jumped to a 7 point lead after 1. Elmore Park used Laila's length and matched her up with Snowden's leading scorer and primarily ball handler for the game.  She is aggressive with her defense and will be a little physical. Snowden moved Paige from the middle of their press to the front using her length to make it more difficult for Elmore Park smaller guards. All through the game, Paige is jumping in the air forcing players to pass the ball higher than what they want to. Isabella, Snowden's leading scorer, was closely guarded the entire game. She only had enough room to attempt 1 three pointer. However, it did not stop her from scoring.
