[player_tooltip player_id='971341' first='Grace' last='Solari'] (2027) | 5'7 PG | Marianapolis

Solari has stepped up when her team has needed her early on this season. She's been a key ingredient for the success Marianapolis has had and Grace can't go unmentioned so far. The way she's got out in transition for easy points, shifted the help defense to get teammates clean looks and taken the open shots the defense has made available have been striking. She'll be an interesting watch in the next few games this week against St. Andrew's as well as Choate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1549966' first='Juliet' last='Laws'] (2028) | PG | Bedford

Juliet's 15 pts, 8 ast served as a commanding force in a convincing 72-38 win over Nashua North. Laws has an instinct feel for the game that finds ways to make plays. A pure point with upper-level vision, elite decision-making and controls the tempos of the game nicely. She manipulates the defense plus she creates ideal shot opportunities for teammates. Her schedule is packed coming up, so Juliet has an opportunity to further cement why she's considered a bubbling star.

[player_tooltip player_id='1166532' first='Abrielle' last='Pelissier'] (2030) | 5'7 Wing | SMSH

Abrielle is one of RI's brightest young players on the rise. She has a very solid inside-out attack on offense that keeps the defense guessing. She's been developing as a more governing scorer and looking quite sharp doing so. This is a player that's shown growth in many areas at a rapid pace. There's no question Pelissier will sharpen her skills even more due to the fact that she's getting a ton of reps playing games with the girls and boys this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1181941' first='Kirsten' last='McKay'] (2027) | CG | St. George's

Kirsten has been an exciting addition to the team. She's brought the energy to lineups and is the ideal fit on a well-built squad. One of her more underrated traits is her passing ability. McKay is able to thread the needle, no matter how small the gap and the ball is well-placed as teammates are set up for easy baskets. Kirsten can also be a reliable option as dribble penetrators look for someone to kick out to. Don't overlook her defensive abilities either. She beats players to the spots and has solid anticipation when rotations start to happen. Kirsten isn't the one to always be recognized, but her efforts can make her an unsung hero in any game. St. George's is hosting their own holiday tournament this week; anticipate McKay to have a ton of involvement in helping secure some wins.

[player_tooltip player_id='1308084' first='Lana' last='Orietas'] (2029) | 6'0 Wing/Forward | Berkshire

There wasn't much of a familiarity with Orietas' game in the past. However, after getting a chance to watch her play over the weekend, it not farfetched to say she's one of the more talented '29 players around. She has great size, sports a soft touch around the rim, covers a lot of the court in her long strides, displays upper-level agility and can stretch the floor with ease. With the Nickerson tournament coming up, she'll present some interesting induvial advantages. It wouldn't be surprising to hear that Lana was a major influence for Berkshire in some of these highly anticipated matchups.
