Sandy’s Spiel Showcase: 2027 Frontcourt Standouts

Skylar has the potential to really cement herself as one of the better 2027 posts in Georgia. Levell is a physical powerhouse. She used her strength to her advantage against Creekside, scoring with a strong drop step. She displayed her agility and versatility going coast-to-coast off a steal. Skylar finished with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.     Standing 5-foot-11 with length and athleticism, Atterberry immediately catches your eye. She possesses the ability to alter shots in the paint but also has upside when guarding on the wings with how she can move her feet and contest jump shots. Her rebounding was most important in a 50-43 win over GAC, posting 2 points and 5 boards.     Hayden hit the glass against Woodstock, securing rebounds as the Wolverines fired away from beyond the arc. Allen made some good decisions with the ball. Instead of forcing shots, she was able to find the open may for layups. She posted 2 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal.     In a 65-59 loss to Holy Innocents', Tamia produced 7 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals. Tomlinson is at her best when she's able to use her strength and athleticism to power her way to the rim. She's a solid slasher who can also knock down the open three. Typically, she has proven to be a reliable rebounder. Tomlinson can steal minutes at multiple spots 2-4.     Kaliyah had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals in a 49-38 win over Midtown. Oliver has transitioned into more of a frontcourt forward role after initially serving as a wing with a good three-point shot. Oliver did damage around the paint against the Knights. She hit a jumper from the high post and scored in transition. Kaliyah's physical strength is a major boon. Oliver rebounds exceptionally well.     D-I schools are tracking Milan. She has great tools – wiry, long and athletic with broad shoulders. When she is locked in, she's a dangerous three-level scorer who always makes things happen on defense. Against Tri-Cities, Johnson provided 5 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks.     Bryant led the Knights in scoring with 11 points against Carrollton. She hit three three-pointers and went 2-6 from the line. Journey is a big guard who has picked up D-I interest. Adding to her off the dribble game will make her a more difficult cover. I think she holds upside in the post, a candidate to identify mismatches and post up smaller guards.     The lefty racked up 10 points, 1 rebound and 1 block against Grayson. Natalie is a powerfully built swingman. She was effective at finding open spaces in the defense on BLOBs. Turner drew fouls throughout the game, shooting 6-10 from the foul line.
