Some may view this as a good thing, while others will look down upon this ruling. Either way you feel, the rule is here to stay, creating buzz around many parts of the state. Some teams will benefit from this rule; others will not. It's a choice for families, but it's also a big step toward creating competition and parity across different districts.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the Mid-State, as in both East and West Tennessee, we have seen the pendulum shift as girls have moved to different schools. The ruling has created more competition across various districts, raised the level of play, increased parity amongst districts, and sparked interesting conversations that will be discussed for many years to come. The word "impact" comes to mind as those who make the jump help elevate their new club and those around them. This kid's game is on the rise, and the move across town has not only benefitted her but the program as well. Her confidence is growing, and she's getting rather comfortable since she moved crosstown as the season gets going, looking for her to stack high numbers in multiple statistical categories.
