MTSU commit [player_tooltip player_id='1122399' first='McLayne' last='Bobo'] was getting buckets from everywhere at the Hoop fest.

Bobo in Tullahoma's first game against Franklin High School was the game's high scorer with 22 points. In the game, she made two shots from distance and also four shots within the arc. Bobo is an aggressive scorer around the paint, and this play from the senior resulted in several trips to the free-throw line, as she made a total of eight free throws in the game.

Along with being the feature scorer for Tullahoma, Bobo is also a great perimeter defender.

Sophomore out of Grace Christian Academy, Alexa Perez, had a strong day one performance at the Hopp Fest.

Against Centennial High School, Perez was scoring from everywhere. She had made three in the game and also knocked down a couple of mid-range jumpers. When getting to her offense, she was under control and unfazed by the pressure Centennial brought on occasion. She showed her calmness in a fast break scenario, where she euro-stepped past a defender and made a layup.

Perez is also a great defender. In a game outside of Hoop Fest against Centennial again, she had seven steals.

Natlaya Hodge was on a heater in Beraden's first game of two at the Hoop Fest.

Hodge in day one of the event, when her team was taking on CPA, was finding the bottom of the bucket regularly. In the midst of her team trying to convert a fourth-quarter comeback, she had a few made threes in the second half. Some of these were difficult shots, coming both on the move and contested. Hodge somehow managed to make these attempts look effortless. Hodge also in the game had shots made around the basket, with a couple of these makes being transition buckets. The combination of her versatile scoring game resulted in her being the game's high scorer with 35 points.

Hodge also stood out as one of the best defenders in this game against CPA, getting a total of five steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='513275' first='Lily' last='Morrow'] proved to be one of the best scorers at Hoop Fest.

Morrow in CPA's day one game against Beraden was her team's leading scorer. In helping maintain their undefeated record on the year, she had 20 points at the start of the fourth quarter. In the game, she was able to knock down shots from all areas on the floor.

One of these areas that she was penalizing Beraden players from was behind the arc. In the game, Morrow had four made threes. These shots came from all spots on the arc, hitting a three from the left and right wings and also the left and right corners.

The sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='822474' first='Valencia' last='Hailey'] out of Pearl Cohn had a strong individual showing at the Hoop Fest, as her team went 2-0 at the event.

Hailey is a player who remains unfazed. On offense, when she has the ball, she controls the tempo. This was seen in both games she played at Hoop Fest. She had a combined 21 points in the two games she played. On day one against Independence, she also showed off her rebounding ability as a guard, getting an and-one put-back layup.

Also at the event, Hailey displayed her defense. In the two games she played, she had a combined five steals.
