About Valencia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On offense, I stay in control , attack when I see openings, and take what the defense gives me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A way I will describe my mentality is I’m very into the game .I’ll go on run in the mornings do things to make me a better ball player .

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Some non sports awards I have received were getting top 10 in my class for grades with a 4.0

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills I have developed while playing basketball is teamwork. Making the right plays so my teammates can get open and everything is not just a one persons game it’s all as a team so yes that’s a skill I developed understanding

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Some significant challenges I have faced was dealing with sprains and strains that made it hard for me to not play

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college to help with excelling in health and science.

Valencia does a great job spacing the floor and consistently positioning herself to keep the defense honest. She is strong when putting the ball on the floor by attacking downhill with purpose and physicality. Once she gets going, Valencia is able to create for herself and others and shows the ability to score or facilitate depending on what the defense gives her.
